Great episode Caleb. I wonder if there would be a market for you to find someone to do a spin off show for your channel for home cooking and weekend meal planning for the audience. Eating out is one of the largest discretionary expenses most people have and most younger people have no clue how to go about with something like that. Meal planning and prepping could make eating a home a lot easier for a lot of people who think they don’t have time to do it. Food for thought.

I would like to do this, but I'm not in financial ruin. I would rate myself a 9-10 / 10 in financial score, but I would like to know advanced strategies to grow my money that isnt super risky. There has to be an advanced tactics segment..as entertaining as watching people with their lives on fire, I think there is a fan base who could benefit from bringing on well-off people and figuring out how to compound their means. Just a thought.

Working 5 out of 31 days is a joke - his comedy/voice acting might be a greater joke. I’m paid bi weekly in real estate biz and have worked for same people for 9 years. Every day I work because the first few years I did not - technically My Choice. After the eeb and flow of business up and downs I’ve convinced myself I’d prefer to be paid this way. Sure it’d feel like I’d be paying my debt faster if paid weekly but I also wouldn’t have grown into who I am. And it means I have to work harder now to even acknowledge getting paid a month down the road! (For people who even comprehend how this type of pay works, technically I’ve already rendered services for the next month is what that means). This guy works 5/30 days a month and talks non stop well guess what hard work beats talent all the time - he may think he has skill but his character ruins it (assuming you believe he has skill) - I guess you can sense how I’m feeling about this episode as it’s playing in the background😂

U let it rip lol, truth hurts I guess, people can get better people can change, boundaries are about controlling ur behavior/ ur response not the other person. But again, how are u gonna react to X are u gonna walk away or stay, have a hard talk, model healthy behavior, put space between u and the person? If it’s that bad u can work on the empathy piece by having long discussions and fostering intimacy in a way that promotes individuality and a sense of being separate but together rather than enmeshing with each other. Ultimately a stark contrast between being urself and the persuit of ur personal dvvelopment seperate from ur partner and the close intimacy that comes with the attraction to that is electric. People who are themselves are extremely desirable as opposed to people who move too close to u to quickly resulting in emotional problems people are not mature enough to solve.

Absolutely furious that Caleb is recommending that they get married and join finances. The benefits to Sam are clear, but what does Penn get from that? She'll be on the hook for a guy who has shown no initiative in saving money, or earning it in the first place; as if supporting her family isn't enough, she needs another dependant? By all means continue dating for, say, another year and if his behaviour changes - and more importantly STAYS CHANGED - they can both take their incomes and savings into an equitable marriage, and my blessings to both of them. But advising a quick marriage and merged finances while the only person bringing anything to the table is her? You're putting a huge target on her back for financial abuse. Penn, you are young, and there is no rush. We have to believe you see something in Sam that makes you want him for a life partner (you can see from the other comments that many of us are baffled at that, but we only have this video to go off of). But the courthouse will still be there in a year's time, in five years' time, however long it takes for you BOTH to have a strong financial foundation. Please also consider that there are a plethora of men who are not too "machismo" to listen to their FIANCEE'S very valid concerns, and who will not make you feel like a "bitch" for voicing them; who will have conversations with you about what they want your relationship to look like in the short- and long-term future, and plan with you about how to make that happen; and who will work just as hard as you to provide for you and your family. Do not settle for anyone less than you, girl.

Hi there!! I'm Penn, and despite being advised to not look at the comments (which, I'm a curious person, I couldn't help myself) I've been scrolling through everything everyone has been saying and I can see why everyone is so confused and belittling towards him. And me, as well, I understand that my weight is a common point of contention in the comments, and I was actively starving myself at the time which doesn't exactly make you skinnier. When this video was filmed, we were both going through rough mental health issues and have since seen counselors and worked on a lot. Sam is now consistently working anywhere from 40-60 hours a week, and is regularly on sets for different projects. He is tremendously kind and loving, just a bit bull headed when things get stressful. This was my first time being in front of a camera since I was in highschool, and I was very nervous and kinda just blurted the "machismo" bit to fill air since I didn't know what to say. We're in a much better situation than we were, and we're hopefully going to be moving into an apartment near us within the next few months. We genuinely went onto the show to try and glean what insight we could to pull ourselves out of our respective messes.

It's nuts. Even the idea that you can be one of the very few VAs that really break out, you ain't going to be making shit working as a VA in Texas. He needs to go somewhere with union work. So, his parents need to move to California.
@gregsimoes8645

@daerandir1459 Most VAs make real money trading on their fame (putting in appearances at anime conventions around the country) rather than for their voice work. All of that work is gig/contract work and outside of a number you can count on one hand, is not really lucrative unless you were a star before that or you're a regular on something like The Simpsons.
