In the late '60s and '70s, as a Police Officer, I dealt with a few cases where the family's daughter just simply walked out. Hard as nails, I just dealt with it. Now, in my 70s, to hear this European Band play and sing this song with such feeling, I suddenly "got it", the horrible truth of the song, the appeal of it internationally, the lovely heart-rending melody, the pain and ache and fear of the parents for their "grown-up baby"... and it released emotions that I had held in check for years... and I wept. How on earth does an old song do that?

@@herethereandeverywhere02 They're founded 2014 on initiative of Fred Gehring (the drummer). Their goal is to perform live the albums that The Beatles themselves never did performed live. They did Magical Mystery Tour, Sgt Pepper, The White Album, Abbey Road and at the moment they are touring with Abbey Road/ Let ItBe. They perform the music with the same type of instruments that The Beatles recorded them in the sixties. And that in the smallest details. For instance the bell that The Beatles used in Penny Lane was a bell that was used by the British fire departments in those days. So they searched and found a similar bell. The Beatles used a certain 1959 Fender Stratocaster or a 50's pianola? They searched the internet to find and buy a similar one. Litteraly everything must be as much as possible the same as on the record! The singing, the instruments, the sound. And nothing is digital, everything is analogue. They're great!

@@HIWATTSteve this song isn't that hard, the thing that makes it harder is the instrumental part, lots of instruments, but even though, every song is unique because of it's sounding, it would never sound the same as the studio version, even if the beatles had played it live. but we can play it in a pub on the guitar for example, and sound great anyways, it doesn't need to be identical to the original to be good

Wonderful, what a band. There are many cover bands that play Beatle songs, but these guys are absolutely the best. This song is one of the best Beatle songs there are, All I can hear are the Beales. Paul wrote some of the best timeless songs, he was and is one of the finest song writers.
