God rest his soul, mine of 20yrs passed 12yrs ago. I think of the unconditional LOVE we had for each other. He was the fairytale marriage, the white picket fence, the prince, and he treated me like his queen. There will never be another like him. He set the standards so high for the next man in my life and I refuse to lower any of those standards. Definitely the love of my life, soul mate if you believe in those. When he passed, it was more than a heart break. It was like my soul was empty, which has taken me the entire 12yrs to fill up. Brantley Gilbert sings his music about Billy and I. sometimes I cry, sometimes I laugh, sometimes I just go with the flow of the songs and reminisce about what we were doing at those times of hearing them.. I miss him dearly!
