Why is it taking so long, my guess would be corruption, they tried to bury it but couldn’t do so even with the help of those that should have been upholding the law. So many involved who are now arguing amongst themselves, saying if I go down you will be implicated and go down with me. The time line of meetings and resignations would support that. I still believe the biggest financial scandal had still to come to light.

SNP about to amend the law to get the Murrells off. Currently, the law requires persons of interest/charged to come before the courts within 4 years. Amendment being introduced by SNP to shorten that time scale to ONE YEAR. By the time it comes into force in the next couple of months, it will be more than 1 year since Peter Murrell was charged, and more than 3 years since Sturgeon and Beattie were arrested (but released). Job done…..Scot(s) free!
