"She's The One" - Stunning Wedding at The Great Harbor Yacht Club

Meryl & Dylan's wedding weekend was special for many reasons. For both Handy & Dallaire Events & Yellow, it was our second time working with the Pelz family. Seeing some fun & familiar faces again is always fun.
Their weekend kicked off with a bridal party boat ride around the harbor, dinner, drinks and speeches at The White Elephant. We spent the night listening to speeches telling us all about how wonderful these two are but the one that stuck out the most was Dylan's Dad. He recalls the moment Dylan told him that Meryl was the one... try to listen without crying because, we can't.
While the wedding day kicked off with a large storm, high winds and rain, Meryl & Dylan just rolled with it & knew that it would be a part of their story. They took it all in and embraced it, and as filmmakers, we cannot thank them enough. The couple's energy on the day of a wedding sets the tone, and while it would have been understandable for them to be upset or irritated, it's like they never even knew it was raining. They just looked at each other and smiled. That's a moment when we always know that the couple are awesome teammates & set for life.
Guests enjoyed the most beautiful evening at The Great Harbor Yacht Club, surrounded in beautiful flowers & candles, we listened to more speeches & danced the night away.
