Swaggy, let me give you some advice but first lets explain something to you. When I was learning to drive in the UK, my husband decided to sit with me one day when we were going to the market. Well, we only got halfway when he started stressing me out so right in the middle of the road I put the car in park and stepped out. Couldnt take the stress girl. So, the moral to this story is never let your spouse teach you to drive if you want to have a peaceful life. LOL.

Swaggy, you will be fine in a month or so. Keep driving on Sundays when not much people are on the road, and creep, creep until your confidence builds up. Then travel to Kingston via Fern Gully and you will learn the roads and build up your confidence, and up the Blue Mountains down to Papine. You will be great driver in no time. Be consistent. I do not like how Errol called you a Coward. Do not pay him any mind. They all say that to the ladies, be strong. You're a wonderful mom and have nice boys and supportive husband. I wish you well with your driving and everything else in Jamaica. I left in 2018 and I wish I was in Jamaica when I was there. Your one in a million great. You and Errol.

You can also when you feel ready do motor way training. All you need is someone who is patient and encouraging to sit with you. The roads seam untamed so you will need all the help you can get.your driving instructor is the best person to help you

Swagga, I had my license for 10 years from Canada and it took me 2 years before I could drive in JAMAICA. It's no joke there! Better safe than sorry, when u are hesitant on the road it causes accidents!! Take your time girl!

My husband taught me to drive in the States right after we got married. Had some lessons when I was in Jamaica. Only God saved the marriage. Still try to navigate when he is in the car😂. Drove when I came home a few years ago even though I swore never would because nobody stays in there lane and no road rules are acknowledge most times. It can be scary and nerve wrecking. I had to keep repeating stay on the left every time I had to make a turn😂. Felt so accomplished though. She will get it in time. Short drives to places close by until she builds up her confidence. I have a friend who drove in Jamaica and she could not handle it. On the States now for years and drives only on local roads. Nerves can’t take the highways. Driving takes practice.
