I lived in Bavaria for 3 years, about 20 minutes from the Czech border. I loved how much that side of the country embraced metal. I loved Europe as a whole, but that place felt like home!

I finally found someone who agrees that Tatiana is one of the best, if not THE best female vocalist in the game right now! She is absolutely amazing and the band itself is tight af...I really don't think they have a bad song in their discography but you should check out "who's gonna be the one" live...the lows give me chills

Nice reaction! About Vlad's drums: I don't think that he's that elevated behind the set, it's just that not having any toms above the bass drum allows this 'unusual' visibility ;) I absolutely adore his drumming for his phantastic use of dynamics and his fluidity in changing them Maybe check out 'Retrospection' next?

There is a drum playthough vid on the band's channel for this song if you want a better look at his kit and drumming style. Vlad has done them for a few other songs if you have any interest in doing a double reaction for Pit of Consciousness live in Kiev or there is a good playthrough vid for Dreadful Moments with just the guys at a Zildjian cymbals clinic that has multiple camera angles and mostly focuses on the drums.

@@DimitarK The drum vid from the Kiev concert only has one camera angle and it's not in the best spot, but you can still kind of see what he's doing. For Dreadful Moments, I'd recommend the Official Live Bootleg version as opposed to the lyric video before checking out the playthrough

Totally agree. Thinking Jinjer at least gets to Slipknot/Korn status. It might be a stretch to say they'd ever get Metallica/Ozzy big, but some day, someone will. They have the right ingredients. I usually don't throw my 3 faves of theirs out so early in a reactor's Jinjer journey, but Vlad's drumming absolutely spanks in all 3 of These 3. Retrospection 2. Ape 1. Pit of Consciousness SUBBING

I think it would take a new era of metal reaching mainstream popularity to get to Metallica status. That said, there are some awesome bands out there today, some bringing entirely new takes on the metal genre, so it could happen. In particular, I feel like in an age where women are taking hold of their anger, bands like Jinjer and Spiritbox could become the voice of a generation if they can get enough exposure.

"She's about to fuck shit up" Tati has multiple ways of fucking shit up. :) They had made major moves in the direction of getting on top of the food chain by upgrading their stage gear with the proceeds from the 2019 touring season which was 152 mostly headlining and mostly sold-out shows across North America and Europe, though mostly at small venues. The ones I saw them at were 400 and 800 capacity. To see the upgraded stage production for larger stages like festivals, check out Pit Of Consciousness live in Kiev, to see the setup for smaller venues, check out the official video for Retrospection which shows footage from a lot of shows, including quite a few with the setup at small venues and a sequence where they are building the screens. So far they haven't shipped the screens overseas and are just using them in Europe. Cheers! Btw, it seems like you were able to sus out Vlad's kit setup, but if you are interested the Retrospection drum playthrough video shows him setting up his kit at the beginning so everything is visible. He's a major addition to the band, not just as a great drummer but he was classically trained on the piano so he knows a lot about music theory whereas everyone else in the band is self-taught (though Tatiana had a few months of singing lessons when she was a kid), and also plays guitar well enough to have a Gojira guitar cover video on YT. I kinda wish they'd do something with Tatiana's bf Alex Lopez of Suicide Silence on drums so Vlad could show off his guitar skills. :)
