@nooneofnote84538 ай бұрын
I can only speak from a US perspective. The only way that word can be in a non-Black person’s mouth is if they grew up in the culture and demonstrated the appropriate usage and respect for AAVE the people who created it .Every friendship and relationship is going to vary but that’s something the non-Black person needs to navigate mindfully and communicate openly about, allowing the Black partner to lead that conversation. From a personal standpoint that is just not my word to use

Hi Omni! Just wanted to let you know I'm Asian (Hmong) and I just wanted to let you know you have a very nice voice and smile. You also seem to be a real one and it shines thru. I don't have the N word in my vocabulary or say the bad words because I try to lead by example for the kids and just got used to not saying those words. When I get angry, the most I will use is the B word, the F word, and the S word. Not an excuse but I think people have been so used to saying those words that it automatically comes out. It's good to call them out on it because we should all get rid of the hate and just love each other as human beings. Once we are all united and speak one language (love), then we will be living in the Garden of Eden. P.S. love your background, all the stuffed toys!

If you're giving someone a pass, for anything, you're saying you know something is still bad or prohibited for a good reason but you let someone do it for whatever reason. I don't/wouldn't give anyone a pass to insult me or others just like no matter how close I got to them nobody would me a pass to call them a pedo.
