exactly mate , I had two female marble bettas in a 40 gallon with a pair of crayfish . Now the first thing that will come to your mind is '' did the cray eat the betta ? '' , actually no . I had a 3 year old blue female cray and she was too slow to even grab corys right in front of her claws. And the 2 marbles bettas had their best life before passing away on 12 of october 2020.

Here a simple tips for me, find black water or akira water, or use ketapang leaf, or u can use those water plant, to remove the clorin from tap water u can put em in one big container and leave it for 3 day, but if you to use instantly just put some blue salt.

Yay! Been waiting to see the sorority updates - everyone looks beautiful! Lisa - you (and Bubbles) inspired me to reach out and answer "yes" when someone on my local Facebook fish group sent out an SOS on New Year's Eve. The owner needed someone to take her injured/sick female betta that she was no longer able to care for while treating a fungal infection. I picked up my new little girl betta yesterday and she's happily "rescued" in her new hospital tank with live plants and katappa. She looks a little beat up (infection seems gone but chunks of fin missing), but that's part of her beauty :)

that discus tank is beautiful. the discus are some of the prettiest fish out there anyway, and I really like the simplicity of the decoration, it has simple elegance and it keeps your eye on the fish. I always plant my tanks, and my main show tank is very heavily planted, so thats usually kinda my preference, but the lack of plants honestly looks just as good in that tank as an aquascaped tank

400 betta fish thats difficult to keep. I can't imagine myself keeping that much because I'll find it hard keeping them healthy. By Changing water+conditioning per betta spent🕝🤦‍♂️👩‍❤️‍💋‍👨. I only had 80 bettas and having them provide maximum effort. But in behalf, seeing them in a healthy condition is priceless. Fish keeping exceed maximum happiness. 🐟💯💪

is it a planted tank or fake plants? If planted I would go for ramshorn and Malaysian trumpet snails, and also bladder/pond snails. They are cheap, great cleaners and fun to watch. They breed like crazy but there are 3 ways you can keep them in check. 1. limit the excess fish food in your tank - if they will start to not find enough food they will lessen breeding rate 2. assassin snails (Anentome helena) - they look good aesthetically, and eat the other snails. First establish the others though, and then add anything between 3-5. they breed slowly, and are an aesthetic addition to the tank. 3. if you have a lot, and space, set up a tank with either clown loaches, or puffer fish, they will eat then. if not planted, I would add rabbit snails (Tylomelania) and apple snails(Ampullariidae) - but omit the assassins if you want to breed them. rabbits are slow breeders but beautiful big snails, and apple snails are big too ( having a mix of golden and chestnut ones can be interesting) and how they breed out of water can be fun too. Only downside is they eat plants, and are voracious eaters. Apples will also hover up dead fish. Caring for them is pretty easy - keep normal water parameters, google care sheets and don't forget to add a cuttlebone so they can get calcium for the shells.

I got my first betta. No idea what kind it is a $4 dark blue fade to light blue. All my life I avoided these fish but my daughter insisted. Seeing them in those cups.... So yeah when it stared to swim, maybe for the first time. And after a few hrs I put a little bit of frozen shrimp. He found it eventually and ate it. And he seemed to be invigorated. In that moment I felt ok. Its life is better and I did that. 😁

@@ludokerfluffle6232 i would recommend not to add more, keep in mind bettas can be territorial and although they possibly can get along with neon tetras you will find a problem. Neon tetras need to be kept in 10-infinite school of fish. you will overstock your tank. Maybe cardinal tetras would be better they at least need 6 fish but then again it would still be overstocked.
