I think this was a genuine reason she didn't want to sell the decoration because of her grandma. Unlucky Stacey but i believe you always find something that is just as good another time. Great finds for both of you.

My sisters and I cleaned out our grandmother's house which our mother had been living in. My mother was not well but decided there were things she wanted to keep (at 91 years of age) We had to tell her no, the items are still in the family and our mother passed shortly after. I get it. Sentimental things and we gave items to all our cousins etc., we didn't just keep for ourselves. Not one thing has been sold.

Long Winded Story for you both 😊 love you guys 😘 Great video Travis & Stacey, I had that happen to me owner didn’t want to sell something. She put it out with everything, but didn’t mean to. When I picked up this gorgeous crystal hand carved frog, I couldn’t believe my eyes. I was intently looking at it when I heard no, no,no…the owner nicely said I don’t know how this got out here. I’m sorry it’s not for sale. I held my hand out to give it to her and she said thank you. My heart sank that was the only thing I had looked at there so I left. Upset of course, but I started thinking maybe it was something someone gave her and it was sentimental. It sometimes happens this way, but rest assured one day you will find something more meaningful to you ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜

Just wondering, would you have kept those Christmas elves for yourself or sold them for the profit. I’m glad the lady realized the mistake before they were sold. There are things my parents left I wouldn’t take anything for. Im sure everyone feels like this. I love buying and finding things out there. Stacey will find another because she has a great eye.

At the first sale, I spotted a couple of Christmas Pyramide Windmills. Some can sell for good $. Unfortunately, there are many reproductions from China. I purchased a pre-owned Weihnachts in the original box last year for $3.00 & sold it for $125. I don't know that the windmill itself it marked with the company name, so unless you have the box or personal knowledge, you may not be able to id the manufacturer.

It happens when you have help setting up your items or when your unsuspecting spouse helps. My husband put out Solid Silver trinket boxes for $4.00 each! He didn't know the value. One was sold, but I immediately picked up the other ones pronto!

Sorry about that but I know you guys understand her wanting to keep her grandmother's treasure. By the way in the house estate sale under the table where the easter stuff was there was a weatherteck box of something, you should always comp those out. Most go for big money. I sold a cup holder without the box for $70 last year.
