Rovagug killed her husband. And hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. NOT ONLY did she toss him in a planet... she TOSSED THE SUN IN WITH HIM. Just to torment him for what he did. Then being the goddess of the sun she whistled up a new star to replace the one she had shoved in a box with him. Do NOT mess with her man... or you'll end up getting Rovaguged.

My guess? The gap was caused by Rovagug. He finally got strong enough to escape his bounds and started a galactic war immediately. Long story short, he won the war, and devoured the most of the gods and the galaxy at large. Once he was finished, he realized he couldn't reach the rest of the universe. So he used the domains of the devoured gods to temporarily remake the galaxy for his servants to make a way for him to reach the rest of the universe. However, being a god of destruction and not creation, his creations were imperfect. Which is why no one remembers anything from the Gap. If anyone learns too much about The Gap, Rovagug's influence seeps through and they go mad and develop crazy mutations. The the current gods in the SF universe? Different aspects of Rovagug, and his traditional aspect is now known as The Devourer. The gods missing from before the gap? Those were the ones who escaped his wrath and are trying to keep him contained in the galaxy. I ran a campaign based on this idea, and the players didn't know what was going on till it was all explained at the end when they triggered a booby trap on their escape ship to head back to the Pact Worlds. The best part? This trap gave the party that final push over the edge into madness. Setting them up for a villain campaign if they want to revisit those characters again in the future.

Heh, I never realised Rovagug and Golorion were both missing or it could be related. I was just going under the impression that when Triune created the Drift, that it consumed the (majority) of Golorion to do so.

My Sarenrae worshipping Solarion got to name a medical starship thanks to him and his friends rescuing a group of Skittermanders who had been working on it. The ships name? ... The Everflight.

My theory is thus. In the Multiverse there is a blindspot that unravels whatever it contacts, Aroden accidentally touched it and died and that terrified the gods cause he wasn't supposed to die, Its on Golarion so rather than this blip on their omniscience wreck everything and ruins all things. They simply moved Golarion to a private secluded patch of the material universe away from anything cosmically important.

I'd really like to see a video on Earth in the Paizoverse. Ever since I read about how in one of the adventures you go to Soviet Russia and fight Rasputin, as well as a WW1-era tank piloted by the brain of its commander, I've always thought how paizo does that stuff was super cool! I also really like how they're not afraid to jam sci-fi elements into a fantasy setting, but still make aliens and stuff feel fantastical in a very "John Carter of Mars" Planetary Romance kinda way!

I made a cult of Rovagug that actualy dosnt mind Sarenrae, there a group that was inflicted by lycantrhopy and there goal wasnt destroy everything but destroy the unnatural, things like "Undead, Aberations, and obominations" the things of the world that did not belong and there moto was "We destroy that which is not natural, if our lord seeks to destroy the world when he escapes then it is his perogitive till then we clean up the trash so he dosnt have to" - Leader of the cult to my players who then allied themselves to help the cult cure there lycanthropy thinking they where based :) (Also Sarenrae is lagit one of my favorit gods to worship in any pathfinder game)

I like to think that Golarion still exists in the REAL timeline whereas most of Starfinder canonically exists in some kind of Fractured or Doomed timeline? How is it explained that hordes of alien starfleets other than the Vesk haven't tried to colonize the Pact Worlds systems if Absolom Station really only take at most a week to reach from anywhere in the galaxy?

Thanks for that. As a Sun touched lay priestess of the goddess that was most useful. My epiphany solar weapon is now scimitar shaped - is the deity / religious information for Starfinder in a Starfinder book OR is it only in the Pathfinder ones, interested in the lore but not keen on buying a whole new library of books I probably won't use.

Ok so I’m dyslexic so are aren’t sure if it’s right or wrong it may be a word I’m not used to or one of them times when my brain is looking at a word that’s spelled correctly but my brain is going “”that looks wrong, are you sure it’s spelled right?”” So I then spend half an hour googling and asking Alexa if it’s right. So my point, is the title of this video a typo? Is it meant to be Trapped a god or is trapt the right spelling/word (I can’t say I’ve ever ran into it before)? Ps I also suck at grammar I know stuff like ‘ and , and ; exist but I’m not to sure where they go in the structure of a sentence.

@@TheMapleTable interesting ive never ran across it before but saying that ive barely ran across they’re and only know it exists because there their and they’re all sound the say when your trying to spell them which causes me no end of problems nearly as much as hidden U in words and i learned the other month that the reason for most silent letters in words was because Scholars wanted to sound more posh/intelligent so they started using words that looked closer to their base form but didnt change how the word sounded.
