I've always liked the Shadow Lords as the "Do what must be done" tribe. If there is a strong leader frae another Tribe, the Lords would support them quite passionately. If you show weakness though, they will take you down very hard.

according to the gentlemen gamer guide to the garou. the Shadowlords are one of the most effective and feared tribes considerd by the leaders of Pentex and the Wyrm, more effective leaders than the Silver Fangs, however their manipulations breed much corruption. and a good number Shadowlords have fallen to the wyrm by their use any means possible to achieve power mentality.

The Garou do have a rich history, especially relating to the Fera war. I know W5 is a reimagining, and to what came before, may only get a slight mention or similar to V5 get associated with Loresheets. So that Storytellers can pick out, what might've been true of Garou history. The other Fera may only get passing mention. Though the way it seems they've altered the Get, they know seem to have the ego of the White Howlers from the previous editions. Oh, one thing that would be cool to go over is some of the lore associated with Werewolf the Wild West

There is a Tziminsce reventant family descended from Shadowlord Kin folk. called the Danislav now extinct as the Tzimisce destroyed them in the dark ages due to them destroying their Tziminsce master.

Philosophically the Children of Gaia are my favorite tribe but in pure application and execution the Shadow Lords are the best. Their beliefs and modus operandi make then the most adaptable of the Garou able to function and thrive in both cities and the wild.

Why are the Tribe NOT FALL TO WYRM OR PENITEX? 5th Ed Has no Lore or War of Rage……. They Could have Half Tribe fall to Corruption? They Work for Vampire Clans, & Have been Manipulators of Every Major Disaster in History? The 5th Ed can have “Hawken ,” faction & Younger Shadow-lords Purge Tribe back to Glory?

the shadow lords developed their political style with frequent interactions with vampires in particular the Tzimisce. Yes they are master manipulators but also great warriors. Interestingly there are Asian shadowlords breeds not part of the Shadow lord tribe like the Hakken(japanese samurai shadow lords) and the mongol and Chinese shadowlords.

@@TheMapleTable Easy to do when you've only ever read the name. In Rumanian, they use a lot of sibilant consonants. Even on the T sound. So Tepes works out to either T-ch-ep-esh, T-sh-ep-esh, or Tep-esh.
