I agree with the thought that eating out it about the same as cooking in. When you add time to gather,prep,cook and clean as well as actual ingredients purchase might even be cheaper to eat out. Especially in Thailand

This red chili peppers 🌶 are very healthy for you I bought 1 came home ate it with a great 👍 sandwich called the mikonos sandwich 🥪 one of those chili red pepper 🌶 cost 40 cents but it was sweet & little spicy with you guys FAH put alot in the food it's called cayenne peppers 🌶 and it's great 👍 for health I can eat half of pepper🌶 with a meal no problem 😅😂 james it's great for diabetes it's just that FAH did put alot plus chopped garlic ❤ that's why it's was fire 🌶

The alcohol thing is true in most of Asia. What normally works is to ask the attendant at the pharmacy. They have it locked up. In China I’ve even had to sign for it. Ask for disinfectant. Also, I think it may not be 99% like it is in the states.

I know it’s extremely inexpensive to eat out in Thailand, but don’t you get tired of it? Just curious (noisy). Sorry….hahahaha, you just said you like to eat out and why. I don’t agree (I’ve only been to Thailand 3 times. Too old now.) but then that doesn’t take the fact that you are an intelligent man and very courteous, away. Thanks James for being you. I like cooking whenever possible, because I control what ingredients are used. Dining out can be cheap, but you don't know the quality of the ingredients used to make it. Many Thais add too much MSG and sugar to their dishes.

Interesting comment about eating out versus cooking. I've eaten out most of the past 40 years as I don't care to cook and it is, in fact, one of the reasons I chose Thailand over the Philippines as a winter destination (the many food options). I also found your recent comments about the lack of isopropyl alcohol interesting, as I have used it to clean my face morning and night for the past 40 years. Will have to bring some with me and, possibly, pick up a bottle when I do a Visa run elsewhere.
