Pattaya is fun at first but it gets old fast. The bars, the traffic, the pay to play becomes very boring. People hangout in bars every day. If you're in Thailand, the best thing to do is travel and site see, otherwise the lifestyle gets very boring.

I have a question.I am a Canadian and I have holdings in my TFSA as well as holdings in a different stock portfolio.I have done 2 tax returns in Canada since I have been in Thailand.In the last 2 years of tax returns I paid no taxes in Canada.I transfer about $2800 each month for living expenses that comes in each month from dividends.I also have enough savings in my Canadian Bank account that can be traced back so that I could easily live in Thailand for 3 years before I had to use the dividend income from my investments and so the money from the dividends would be 3 years old.
