Do you secure your all of your doo-dads, books, etc. onto your shelves with hook and loop/ Velcro to minimize travel readiness? I hope you have some cans of Raid Wasp Spray, Bear Spray or similar method(s) of self-defense apparatus strategically located inside and in exterior access panels. Maybe a pew-pew? This is fantastic. Unrelated but summer 1995 I attended a Grateful Dead show in Highgate, Vermont. As my group of friends settled in to our campsite alongside thousands of other attendees, a yellow school bus pulled in and parked nearby. Once the driver turned the engine off, the back door flew open and a ramp descended. Harley after Harley was unloaded (maybe three or four). They’d altered the letters above the windshield that normally read “SCHOOL BUS”, to “COOL US”.

Destiny has achieved one of the quirkiest skoolie builds I've seen. I usually get bored with skoolie tours, but this one kept me watching. Her personality shines in this build. The work of a creative genius!! Music, carpentry, electrical, solar... I'm in awe. You could actually get paid to be a consultant, I imagine, for those of us with different talents not listed here. 🤨😸 I live in a conversion van with 2 tuxedo kitties, and my idea of a "build" is installing second hand furniture that I may or may not have spray painted first. 🤷‍♀️ I absolutely love the vintage vibe of the kitchen cabinetry, the appliances in drawers, all the beautiful colors throughout....but where were the kitties? 😳😿 Also, how do you keep display items, musical instruments, etc from moving or falling during travel? 🤔 Loved the song at the end 🙌💓

I love everything about your bus except the shower. There's enough room in that bus to have a separate shower. (I really hate a wet bath.) A separate shower is just a must to me. She has to be the most wonderful person living in a school bus! I wish she had whatever we call a regularly scheduled "TV Show"--a streaming event--for girls from 4 to 12--so her assertivenessness, lack of fear, imagination, love for herself and what she wants out of life even if it's different, not a schoolbook version of a career for example... I needed someone like her as a roll model when I was in that age group--it's when our minds take everything we learn about the world and apply it to what we love, what we want, and we get shot down for it, criticized, pressured to become something else. She has kept that free spirit alive and in plain view! She lives her dream life and makes it work in a very legit way without losing a thing. She has a great voice, a fun personality. I want her to influence girls (and any boys interested) to work on themselves to be the person they want to be, someone they love being. She could do that, entertain them so they don't get bored, and have guests to inspire others to do the same. The world is changing so much--when I was a little girl, we were encouraged to have a family as the be all and end all of our lives--which crashed around those folks as fast as they brainwashed little girls to think it was their only option. Then, girls were told to be a teacher or a nurse, or a secretary or bank clerk, telephone operator, receptionist until they have that family, then quit to care for the husband and kids. That was unattainable, as well. So as has been true since 1950, girls are taught total irrelevancies, then sent out in the world to make their own way despite nearly constant criticism. Do it alone, on their own, finding their own ways to earn what they need, be who they need to be--for family and then, maybe, if they get the chance, for themselves. Wouldn't it be nice to see this truth be recognized, credited, whatever it is, whatever works? Destiny makes it work for her--as do a number of young women who don't have big pink school buses. But she does it in style! With talent, humor, and a wild outgoing personality. Congratulations to her! Her bus is beautiful! When I was a teen, this is what I tried to make my bedroom look like. She captured the feminine soul without compromise. I love her kitchen from the colors to the dark wood. The drawers with the curly edges, the stuff she did all by herself! Most girls would be talked into trusting someone elses' judgement. Hiring some man. Which is important to do if it's really too complicated in a field you are not going to become an expert in by next Tuesday. But she mastered so much and successfully brought her vision to reality. Kudos! Every room made me swoon. Just too fun, too pretty, and a good amount of silly whimsy! Her humor is evident. But so is her mechanical talent, knowledge, and musical ability! Wonderful.
