Congrats on the hot tub. Long overdue. And we recall both of the earlier videos with a sled full of hot water. And the hot tub at the farm house. and 2 years ago inflatable hot tub. Now you finally have the right solution. Advice: We live in the country and have a mouse problem. We made the mistake of elevating our hot tub above the concrete like you did. Mice soon found a warm home that had running water. They chewed through one of the rubber lines and drained the tub. It took forever to find the exact spot of the leak as the underneath of the tub is spray foamed for insulation. We bought some replacement tubing and fixed the lines. I would take advantage of the concrete pad when you next drain the tub and remove the 2 x 6 so the bottom and all of the openings sit right on the concrete. Our new home has a solid concrete pad for the hot tub. PS nice to see the old hammer on the head video

Hi you two, Whilst I know you both are safety aware and I am not trying to be smart, but it is not a good idea to have wine glasses in the hot tub because of the risk of cutting your feet if one gets broken as it is difficult to find all the pieces. It is a total pleasure to watch a lovely couple making a life for themselves and their family, keep up the great content showing a couple with their feet firmly on the ground and live in the real world.

Some use salt water in their pools because it sterilizes. It would be hard on metal parts but no bugs, fungi or yeasty stuff. Or you use what they sell as a sterizer cleaner. Nice hot tub to add to the home and makes for a happy wife.
