I was listening to this with earbuds in, while finishing up some notes. I thought I was alone in the office. Nope. I yelled omg 😲. The evening cleaning man here also thought he was alone. Her mother’s dedication to find out what happened to her daughter is incredible. Her daughter’s ghost sounded so scary but at the same time I felt a little envious. My sister died of cancer when she was four and I was seven. We were so incredibly close. She’s gone 34 years and I wish I could have her come back and talk to her one last time but I also don’t know if I would want to see her like that. I just want to hold my sister and feel her love. I hope that if there is an after life that she feels my never ending love

There are tons of scientific proof in the Quran you can google, everything proven by scientists as well as NASA. A few of the explanation in the Quran include: a star called Tariq or Pulsar, the distance to Sirius, the distance to the Iron in the core of the Earth, the temperature of the sun, fires underneath the ocean, bodies of water that don't mix, who/why/how the pyramids were built, as well as numerous of other facts, discovered and proven by scientists in the 21st century. We honor Jesus as he was one of our prophets, but we worship God. Look up Mark(12:19) he called for oneness of God. And God is the one and only Lord. Judaism, Christianity, and Islam (Islam being the final religion) are all from God, and their books in their ORIGINAL texts. Quran though, has never been changed since it was written over 1400 years ago, and is memorized cover to cover by 200+ million people currently around the world. There are 2+ billion Muslims, making Islam the fastest growing religion. Mark 12:29 "God is the one and only God. -Jesus The same message was from Adam, Noah, Moses, Abraham, Jesus aka Isa, and lastly Muhammed peace be upon them all, and all thousands of prophets have said this over the history of the ancient past. God does not forgive people who worship man as God. Islam is basically, there is no God but Allah, and Muhammed is his (last) messenger, the 5 daily prayers. If one does these, he is a Muslim. Indeed Allah also loves the people who are patient upon him. Jesus spoke Aramaic, name of God translated to EELAH or AALAH in Aramaic. In the bible it explains how Jesus prostrated to pray and worship God, like Muslims do. Look up my profile on TikTok to understand all about Islam, as well as learn about a bunch of details of the scientific proof in the Quran. This entire planet is a spec of dust or less. Everything in the foreseeable universe falls under 1 sky. There are 7 and the ocean above it, that carries the throne of Allah. He doesn't need any of us, he is the ever-living. He is the king. We need him. If a person dies, his afterlife begins, and it is more emotional. How many people have died for thousands of years while their souls are in heaven or in prison, and their bodies are in graves. A door to heaven or to hell opens for them, so do not be careless with your time, do not be lazy in your work, and do not let Satan’s wishes take you to what he wants, and know that God created you to test you. Do not feel safe from God’s deception, lest you be one of the losers, and hasten to repent, be upright, pray your 5 daily prayers, and have good intentions, for you do not know when you will die, i.e., death. www.tiktok.com/@abdulaly0?_t=8j93JQpWEqh&_r=1

My theory on this has always been the mother knew about it for a while, but with women having little power/consideration in this time she knew no one would believe her over a prominent young man in the time. So, she wisely used the very common beliefs and fears of the time to get her story to the authorities so that justice could be served. And, in my opinion, this is much more of a badass story of a smart women using everything she had to get justice for her poor daughter.

This story also shows that our parents can sense things about people especially our love interest that we are too blind to notice. The mom never liked him it was probably more than just his older age. So this man just acted all emotional during the funeral to pretend he’s devastated of his wife’s death. The intense focus on meditative prayer interests me the most. SO MUCH concentration, determination, energy, thought and willpower...if spirits are real it makes perfect sense that such a method could work. It parallels many other cultures who have their own version of meditation or prayer in order to commune with the dead. That's some serious dedication. The amount of mental and physical energy that must have sapped out of the woman.

I doubt her daughter's "ghost" visited her. Mary Jane's instincts against the husband was correct right from the start and she knew what a low life he was. She was an intelligent woman and a caring mother.

This story is so interesting even for people who don't believe in ghosts. Through a psychological perspective, we can suppose that the mother captured signs of the abuse in an unconscious level, as well as the tell tale signs of the cause of death during the funeral. An unnoticed glimpse of her daughter's neck that stuck to the unconscious part of her mind. This is fascinating.

That's only if you presume that the verdict was correct. My thoughts are the mother was choking her because the mother was first upset about her daughter’s marriage, then about the pregnancy. Choked her daughter in a fit of rage and pushed her down the stairs, which broke her daughter’s neck. Throw out the “ghost testimony “ and it makes total sense. No other evidence was presented so how did the mother truly know?

I don't believe in ghosts but I also don't believe that the mother killed Zona. The fact that Erasmus had been through 2 marriages, one ending with the wife dying in a "freak accident" and the other ending with divorce due to him being abusive points towards him being the murderer. My theory is that being the mother, Zona most probably would've told her about the abuse she was going through. The mother must've seen through Erasmus's fake crying and dodgy behaviour at the funeral and must've figured out it was his doing. Also seeing that everyone else was buying into his act must've made her come up with an elaborate story so that people believe HER and not his fake ass.

I'm assuming Zona's mother had an alibi for the time of death. Also, I don't think most women have the strength to crush another adult's windpipe. You would also probably be able to tell from the placement of the marks on the neck the size of the hands as well.

u say wtf to the person saying the mom did it and NOT the one saying yea a ghost with dirt mouth who sucked the air out the room and walked around with backwards head smiling and telling a story about her death to the person who didn't shed a tear at the funeral vs the guy who was at work AND cried like shit AND apparently beat her cause he wanted meat when THATS ALL THEY ATE AT MEALS BACK THEN. Like, bro, for real? And he needs a mental evaluation?

When you described how hatefully the mother-in-law was looking at an inconsolable Erasmus during the funeral, I started to think maybe she was this evil mother who killed her daughter to cause the man she despised as much grief as possible. Like, if I can't have my daughter, neither can you. And then when you described how dishevelled and distraught she was in the weeks following the funeral, I totally thought her daughter's spirit was haunting her to get revenge. Little did I know the truth was even more bizarre and heartbreaking. Thanks for another fantastic retelling!

Yes, so much agree! These are the stories, the paranormal, the ghost stories, and the ," ...and all she could hear was this scratching sound!" Kinds of stories!! Which there's never a bad Ballen story, yeah that's not going to happen lol, but you're so right about that! Did you ever hear the reason he started this? The very true story of what happened to ONLY him(which was odd bc two others were there and not going through it, being tortured by it, and it wasn't even HIS HOUSE!), when he was at his childhood friend's cabin? It's bone chilling, if you haven't seen it, do watch it!👀 👍

In Brazil there was a case in which a letter from a deceased young man helped acquit his best friend in his trial. The friend was being tried on the guys murder, but claimed it was an accident when they were playing with a gun. The deceased guy's letter was so convincing to his parents due to the details it had that it was accepted as evidence in the trial. The medium who channeled the guy's spirit was know to write letters and books from deceased authors. His name was Chico Xavier and was very well known and loved in Brazil.

I've never heard this story before. Wow thank you Mr. Ballen for telling it. I've had countless paranormal events happen in my life and I've been witness to some of the most bizarre and or scariest things imaginable. I absolutely believe that her spirit came to her mom and told her what had happened. And I wouldn't be surprised if the mysterious death that came to him wasn't from her. I'll never understand why or how a man can murder his wife and children or in this case his unborn baby. I'm so glad justice came to him. May both their spirits be at peace.

dude that ghost picture is mad disturbing... I had hallucinations caused by severe malnutrition because of eating disorder and long story short I saw a ghost in my room and weirdly enough, the ghost I saw looked identical to the ghost in the picture of this video.... that really startled me and gave me a mild PTSD flash backs lol.....

@@mol588 If you're talking about The Glass Castle by Janette Walls, the story is not accurate. My mother went to school with her. Walls makes McDowell County West Virginia seem completely impoverished and in the 1970s, it absolutely was not. The mines were booming and money was good in the 70s.
