If I won a chunk of money buying luxuries would not be a priority. I'm not materialistic so it would be about making myself comfortable in life. I'd be happy with a nice tiny home, a reliable vehicle and enough money in the bank to live on for the rest of my life. Designer clothes and sports cars would not be included in that. The most extravagant thing I'd do is take a long vacation. But I wouldn't try to live like a rockstar.

If i ever won the lottery no one would ever learn of my story as I would keep it quiet. The two people that would know of it would be my new lawyer and accountant. I wont need an investment adviser as I am a 100% beliver in Warren Buffit's strategy of if you dont have a clue what you are doing just invest in a low fee S&P 500 index mutual fund. Now I would probably buy a new house but my budget would be no more than one tenth of my after taxes winnings or one million dollars which ever is the lesser. The only payouts you can't be taxed on is winnings from a court settlement. Some of the money also goes to the owner of the store you bought your ticket, in all cases. In my state, if I win $310M and took a 20 year payout annuity the net payout to me would be $180,593,360

Of the entire story only one of these people actually said they would be willing to invest most of the rest of the people did not do what I would call being a rich dad. If you want that kind of money you better make an investment that pays you monthly income and with 50 or $60 million you could do that as long as you know where to put your money and if you’ve done your due diligence you could have a monthly income where you can do a few things more than what you could’ve done before and with $50-$60 million in the bank you could pretty much do that now if it were me I would definitely make an investment and since I’ve done my due diligence I know which companies I would want to buy those other companies that would provide monthly income or quarterly income depending on what I’m doing. A lot of these people said that they would basically buy houses Which are things that continuously require maintenance and repairs and so they’re gonna be continuously spending money that’s what happened to one of the people who lived in my neighborhood. They won $100,000 and I would be interested to know how much of that money they have left if any at all and so the fact of the matter is is that they screwed themselves to the wall and that’s what I’ve seen a lot of people in this video Duebun. I am happy that the people won the lottery but I have to say that only one or two of them out of all the people mentioned in this video actually did what was the right thing and that would’ve been to invest the money and make sure that you have a stable income so that you can do what needs to be done
