The conditioner is very rich and has great slip. The protein treatment strengthened my hair without making it hard or crunchy. The leave in conditioner gave decent moisture. The split end balm wasn't greasy at all! This whole protein line DID NOT harden my hair! What other brands should I review?

Lotta oils, maybe some serums, to protect hair from taking too much moisture from air :D Like a drop or two of oil, rub in your hands and put it on you hair gently :3

One thing I do if possible for you is once I get to school or anywhere with a sink I like to use a lil cold water gust to let my hair soak the water and be less frizzy

@@simrank8262 probably. Certain ingredients act as a protein like sea kelp/seaweed, coconut, etc. If your hair is protein sensitive it can pick up on those ingredients more than someone who isn't protein sensitive.

MrsG87 I switched to the virgin coconut line by Shea moisture. I also did a deep conditioning with refuser coconut oil (I’ve only done it once) and my hair seems good! No changes yet, thanks!

@@simrank8262 no problem! I rewatched the video since it's been 2 years and one of the ingredients was "hydrolyzed wheat protein" so that could do it too. I do notice if my hair gets out of whack or super frizzy that I either need a deep condish or protein treatment. It's usually easier to do deep condish and repair with protein than it is to repair from a protein overload. My hair needs moisture but doesn't like it too much, and then it's Low Porosity too 🤣. I love ALL the SM products I've gotten. I like to use the box braid refresh spray as just a regular refresh spray, too! ♥️

This line is so good😫I have 2a-2c hair and it works just as well. I used everything except for the split end balm. With my hair type, using the treatment before works amazing. I used the coconut one before and I wasn’t right for me. I have dyed and bleached my hair a lot in the past, but my hair has been healthy throughout, and this line makes it even better! Definitely love this stuff

Hands down best hair mask ! Recently over processed my hair with bleach 🤦🏽‍♀️ but it stopped my hair from breaking off completely . I use it sometimes alone or mix it with the "wellness" hair mask from ion together.

I saw this when I went to Walgreens last week to buy more Shea Moisture products. I choose to buy the line I'm used to which is the Jamaican Black Castor Oil line. It does wonders for my hair. So I have stopped using heat tools, and I'm letting my hair grow out again. A year ago I chopped 2 ft off because of a horrible breakup, and I wanted a change. (He lied and said he was single, but in fact was engaged to someone else. I found out after doing some investigating. I was heartbroken.)
