I remember the first time I saw a picture of these sheep. It was maybe 7-9 years ago. I cried because they were the cutest sheep I'd ever seen. Then I saw the Highland cows with them and squealed! Ran and showed my husband the pic. Now granted my Dad was dying of Leukemia at the time but seeing their pics brought me happiness. Seeing you trim these two gentle Giants was enjoyable. Their wool is gorgeous! Such beautiful boys. 💕🫶 🐏🐏🐏

You say you are "difficult to understand", which is true for me, but only because English isn't my native language and I've never even been to Scotland. I'll make an effort to understand, just as other viewers. You should speak as much as you want/need, it's a great pleasure to listen to you! As a total outsider (I'm Russian), I find Scottish pronunciation very cozy, it's like a thick woollen blanket on a chilly day - just perfect as it is. It's only by historical happenstance this of that locality of a language becomes "normal", "sophisticated", "upperclass" or whatever, while in reality EVERY language and dialect is proper, beautiful, and precious.

Handspinner from California here. I love your content. It’s great to see all the British breeds up close. I love hearing about the history of the breed and any other information about the wool characteristics. And yeah, it can be a bit tricky to understand you 😂😂 I wish there were subtitles and also translations of any slang words. But I’m not complaining. It’s really lovely to see you work…and of course the wool.

Love to see the different breeds of sheep. Love your Scottish accent. It's not much more difficult to understand than many regional accents here in the US like in the deep south, etc. It was so bad one time that I mistook the words " heart pine floors" for " hot tubs and spas". LOL it's fun to watch the automatic closed captioning on you tube try to make sense of the various English dialects. Your voice overs are great!

They sweetest little lambs they make though. Do they ever need to have their horns trimmed? I noted that those horns grow so close to their eyes. Like the mom says on “a Christmas Story” about the BB gun the little boy wanted. “ No you will poke your eye out” well … these horns look like they not only poke out another ram’s eye but he can poke out his own. 🤣 Cammy, have you ever watched any of the Texas Longhorn cattle come out of the barns? It is amazing. I’m Canadian but visited family in Texas. That is impressive but, the do trim their horns.

As a dog groomer I have questions about the clipper the blade and the sheep skin. Does the cordless clipper work as fast as the cable clipper? Does the blade or clipper body get hot during usage? Is Ollies skin more sensitive and do you run across sheep with sensitive skin often? Can a sheep with pink skin get sunburned or does their lanolin protect them?

Ah Cammy, It's adorable when you're talking "proper", personally I prefer hearing the Scots, I love it when the mic picks up you talking to other Scots speakers, and you slip into a much broader accent, but I can understand with an international audience why you've done it. I've been tempted to transcribe some of the Sheep Game videos in scots with an English translation, when a bunch of folks are like "help I can't understand". I was raised in Cumbria, my family is Scottish and I went to uni in Aberdeen, so Lowland and Central Scots are nae bother for me to understand, compared to Doric they're easy! I'm always like "What do you mean you can't understand it's clear as day what he means" but I'm used to it I guess.
