I was diagnosed with 'manic depression' back in 1972...the stigma was real. My own cousins and Dad ridiculed me for 'being crazy'. I see Ren and others speaking openly about life-issues, I am filled with joy/sorrow. Joy for the people getting help they need, sorrow for how patients were treated 'way back when'.

I arrived at this video because I had someone react to ren in a live and they didn't bother with listening and spoke over what he was saying. It made me feel like crap because he and I have a lot in common from mental illness to how simikar our lives were growing up. So their insults towards his music were like insults to me. I wanted to remind myself I'm not crazy and that he is a once in a lifetime artist who deserves whatever success gis future may offer him. So I retreated here to KZbin to listen to react videos of his music so I din't feel alone.

Johnny - advice after 32 years of marriage - if something makes your ‘soon to be wife’ smile that hard - you better learn to love it with a passion even if you think it is total arse. This is a sure fire winner for you, you will not get many things where there is absolute certainty that when you buy her that Ren pop vinyl for her birthday she will love it and put it next to the other 20 she already has. Kinda love that it was live one takes... 4 of them done in a basement room of his apartment without permission. Reason it was 4 takes was because they got shut down after the 4th take.

In an interview I saw he said they did only four or five takes - there was a conflict with his scheduled time for the use of the space this was filmed in, and it's all they could do. His production style is to do many takes, and then select the single best. But four or five takes weren't enough to get a best take from, so this is a combination of those takes. I'm pretty sure it was in his interview on the Charasmatic Voice if you want to check it out.

Having Lyme disease for so many years without yreatment, damaged his brain,neurological systems organs, jounts and immune system. He has MCAS AND POTS which i think there is no cure for. He us better, but still has pain,fatigue and sometimes brain fog. I don't kniw the rxtent. He does brain retraining sessions, but he is bettet. Regular treatments will be dobe in July and he is going to perform at a couple shows in the UK before miving to the US. Sonewhere in West or northwest . Closer to tbe doctors than the UK. I also recommend watching the Chapters !❤❤

Hi Ren is a one take for the audio from 3-4 trys. they have used the audio form the first try, and use video from the other trys to change the perspectiv from the camera.
