Thanks Shea - great examples. Tip for keeping shoes clean: as soon as you get them, spray them down with a water proofer - you can buy a can wherever shoes are sold or even in the "camping" area of any store. Spraying them down will make them a bit less likely to get dirty & super easy to clean!!

However I will give her credit for a portion of people who like the see-through look. I have noticed there are a lot of T-shirts intentionally made to look see-through. So if that’s what someone’s going for then that’s their personal preference. But it’s not my preference on a personal note

First, I must say that I absolutely LOVE your videos so much! I'm at home, almost always, due to chronic pain from various medical predicaments. And also, because the French healthcare system is so awesome, I've been able to have home hospitalizations a number of times this past year rather than having to stay in a hospital, alone; especially at night because they don't allow visitors (even my husband) couldn't have stayed over night. It still feels like hospitalization, but definitely more comfortable! 😁 My point behind all this whining is to say THANK YOU Shea! You are a light that is so exquisite my days are brighter watching your videos. Your sense of humor, your tips and tricks, and your flawless style are wonderful! And thanks to you, my sense of style continues to grow and become more refined! On a side note, your voice is very soothing. However, on occasion, I tend to put the playback speed at 1.75 and it's awesome! I'm not making fun at all. In my opinion, it just increases your level of humor. I will preface by saying that i do love your videos and you usually give such great advice. This video was a bit of an exception though and this is for one reason. A lot of your "essential pieces" are very style specific to the point where even I, a self-identified style chameleon, wouldn't wear them. From the loafers to the turtle neck to the blazers and bags, your style is very professional and preppy. That's not a bad thing, but i really wish this video focused more on basic wardrobe building blocks for almost every style rather that the garments that YOU find most important in YOUR wardrobe.

I love this video! I have a small wardrobe. About 5 years ago I purged big time. I have a lot of workout clothes I keep in a drawer from only Lululemon since I love the quality. My everyday clothes consist of scrubs and solid color tops. I had no idea amazon had the essentials line. I love your tops and sweaters. Cathy McCarthy Everlane is actually not a sustainable and ethical brand. On the “Good on You” app where you can see how sustainable a brand is they are rated “not good enough” since there is no evidence that they minimise textile waste and that they pay their workers enough:( you can buy their products second-hand which is always a more sustainable option though!

So many gd tips😘💕, but it’s so interesting that you find the Gucci loafers uncomfortable. For me they’re actually the first shoes (Jordaan, Brixton, Ace and Rhyton) that I am not in pain in. I stopped wearing anything else apart from two pairs of Aquazzura heels. I never had blisters or anything else in them, although I absolutely always get bad blisters, even in prescription shoes. Very interesting how different feet can be. 🙈😄

I just wanted to pop in and tell you how much I enjoy your videos. I have used many of your tips and ideas and love them. I have had SO many compliments on my "fashion sense". (I don't take the credit but suggest they watch your videos) I actually find it on KZbin for them and subscribe your channel for them. I am 62 years young and do not take aging with a grain of salt. I am a anti-aging warrior. Most of the comments I get are from women from 40-80 who may not know how to find you on KZbin. There is one thing I want to ask you. My hair color which is a mix of dark grey, medium grey and white is my natural color. I get a lot of comments on my hair from all ages. It is a longer, layered style that is naturally wavy and looks like I have highlights. I do use Loreal Magic Root CoverUp at the roots around my face to create that shadow that gives it more depth., My issue is with camel colored clothing. It makes me look dead. I want to include that color in my wardrobe but cannot wear it. Although I do accessories, it is still not getting me where I want to go with it. So, I am thinking of either a cognac or black trench coat and using cognac turtlenecks, scarves, etc next to my face instead of camel. Any suggestions for us gray girls?
