I have lived 82 years with ALL the unhealthy products, plastics, water, tin cans, BBQ’s, etc. I’m not about to buy a $409.00 water filter system to put on my counter top! My mother lived to be 101 and lived not doing anything special as far as healthy concerns. I appreciate your concerns Shea but times are so much worse now so maybe you younger generation need to be cautious. Thank you for all your suggestions, information and looking everything up for us. Hugs💜

Colostrum is why babies should be breastfed in the first few days after birth. Can literally mean the difference between life and death in certain circumstances. Since it is only produced for the first 48 hours after birth, I can't imagine there is any "residual" leftover colostrum that can be harvested by this company. Baby calves either get what they need, or they don't because of harvesting.
@rachurleyco
@rachurleyco Күн бұрын
This is my question too. How would there be any leftover colostrum?
@crzdgrls4808
@crzdgrls4808 Күн бұрын
I was wondering this too. Sounds like a byproduct of the dairy/meat industry..
@TerriSiler-hv8in
@TerriSiler-hv8in Күн бұрын
Most dairy farmers take their calves immediately and force feed them frozen colostrum from previous dairy cattle to make sure they get enough..then the milk the mother cows to get their colostrum and freeze it for the next calves. And yes if you are pregnant and very close to delivering you can pump your own colostrum but the nursing baby gets their colostrum for the first couple of days which is their immune system. I just have a hard time that taking colostrum as an adult has any benefits as your immune system is always at work and established. Maybe for people undergoing stem cell transplant or organs transplant or on chemo.

I appreciate these videos! Some people get overwhelmed when they start looking into all of the toxins we are exposed to in our lives. For those of you just starting out, just start one step at a time! Some of these things she mentions are expert level lol, so you don’t have to jump in both feet first. Pick one thing like eliminating plastic storage containers (or fragrance or cleaning products etc). Take your time ❤ I have been slowly implementing these ideas for about 9yrs now. I’m still learning something new that I need to work on. Shea is awesome at doing a lot of the research and boy do I appreciate it! Thank you Shea!

My bf is a scientist and we live in Europe. I understand all your worries bc the US is highly unregulated and the companies just sell the people out to their interests. Unfortunately people like you Shea are completely unqualified to make such statements. Because there is so much more to science than just superficial causal information. And there are experts on this field and studies out there. Like real scientific studies that are no easy to understand or to draw a conclusion from. So at least for all my Europeans: As a biologist who worked in the water industry for 20 years he said at least in Europe the water is highly regulated, the chlorine amount is tested regularly and it does not do any harm to us. Same with radiation, no serious studies proving harm. And the air filter also is mostly unneccessary exept for allergic people. I think if any of this helps sensitive people or just boosts your self-healing due to the Placebo effect, fair enough. I will consider buying the little phone bag just to make me feel better. And yeah, unqualified statements or not, in the US you probably need all this stuff because no one cares for the people‘s health.

Interesting about the cold calm remedy: that company makes a lot of homeopathic remedies and they contain lactose. My family is extremely lactose intolerance and we took this at the suggestion of a homeopathic practitioner, who did not check the label! My family had symptoms and it took us forever to figure out why they were getting sick. So please please check the label if you have dairy allergies because most of this stuff contains lactose!

Hey Shea, as far as I know the crock pot in the video is made of ceramic materials (do you have a source that says it's different? Thanks!), and instant pot I found out it wouldn't work without some aluminum (also toxic, just like teflon) in combination with the stainless steel. I am not looking to contradict you, I am also interesed in the best for me and my family...and I just want to get to the bottom of this. Also, in the air fryer department I found air fryers that are made of glass and stainless steel, but it seems this isnt't the only factor that matters. We know from someone with insulin-dependent diabetes and it seems that the foood cooked in air fryer increses the blood sugar ... :(

I really enjoy the healthy videos thank you for sharing. One of the deodorants you recommended primarily pure I have been using, but I noticed it has aluminium in it still just under a different name. Do you have any other healthy deodorant recommendations? I'm really struggling! Thank you 🙏

I'd like to know what air filters actually eliminate smoke (fires, cigarettes, marijuana, etc.). I can't find any. I wonder what casinos use. 😁

Diswasher pods are my “healthy replacement” for 2025 (because the chemical taste it leaves on all my dishes ruins the flavour of a lot of foods I eat), along with the “no sugar” challenge. I haven’t touched processed sugar at all so far in 2025 (it’s still hard!) and as soon as I run out of dishwasher detergent, I’ll be purchasing a safer brand that I’m hoping won’t leave a yucky tasting film on many of my dishes. These are great ideas and I think it would be very easy to add a filter to my shower head as well. It’s the little things that add up and ease up on the toxic load placed on our liver and kidneys!

I got rid of my wood cutting board and plastic. They found particles from both in the brain. I got stainless steel cutting board and silicone cooking utensils. The black plastic utensils of gas.

Great! How about cosmetics? And regarding stainless steel, it would be good to.not cook tomatoes in it, as the acid leads to metal contamination. Good quality ceramic could be an option, but not bullet proof, either.

Several years ago i was given a bag of pods for my laundry. I noticed i would find little pieces of plastic laying around. My delicate laundry that i do in cold water didn’t them. That told me something right there. I know use so many items from the company Norwex. I’m curious what you think of them if you’ve ever tried that company.

I am wondering about the laundry detergent plastic bottles shown in your video. Many people live in rural areas that don't offer recycling of plastics.

I’m trying a goat colostrum as I don’t do well with cow dairy. So far so good. Thank you for all you share. I think with the air doctor you can go straight to there web site. I’ve heard they are a great company. I have not got one yet as they are pricey.

I love Armra, but it is too expensive. I am disabled & on a limited budget. I have numerous health problems & physical issues. When I took Armra for a few months I noticed a difference in the way I felt & my regularity, but unfortunately my budget does not allow me to continue buying it.😢

I buy distilled water from grocery and in one year spend as much as the reverse osmosis system so I'm seriously considering getting it. But I do have a question for you Shea...I know you do your research so I want to know why you picked that particular one? I'm asking bc I see so many different ones. I haven't done any research and am really confused bc they all say the same as far as cleaning the water. Does that make sense? Thank you for taking the time to educate us on all the ICK in our products 💜💙💚💛🧡

Distilled water is not the same as reverse osmosis. You aren’t supposed to drink distilled water, as it has all the minerals removed, as it causes serious problems for our body.
