Hey quick question..may I ask what brand and where did you buy the umbrella net used to catch bait?

Hi JigStick Outdoor's! We got this dip net at Anglers Avenue. I'm not sure where they got it or what brand. I've been trying to figure that out myself. I heard they where made in Manitowoc or Two Rivers WI. but not sure. Really pressed for time right now but I will try to find out and get back to you.

Hi JigStick Outdoor's, the dip net we use is an Ace brand dip net. We use a 5 foot with a 3/8 in. net but it also comes in a 6 foot. Terry's Bait Bucket looked it up in his catalog and will order some for his shop. I did an internet search but didn't get much. It looks like they are made in Two Rivers, WI. I will keep trying to find out more.

I'm headed out there for the Bills vs packers at the end of the month then headed down to sheboygan to go fishing. Would you suggest the marina or pier that time of year. Also would egg sacs of alwife be better late Sept/early October? Thanks and nice Brownie!

Hey Jeff, try the piers. You'll have more room to fish. If waves are crashing over one pier go to the other pier. Don't know about alewife sacs but try golden shiners, regular spawn sacs and casting. Good luck!

Thanks for the advice. Slow start to the inshore salmon run here on lake Ontario. Hot weather & warm water is keeping them out in the lake. Hopefully they'll be in by the pairs in sheboygan in a couple weeks. Good luck

WoooHoooo holy schmoly the boys are back! too bad about the sturgeon, I missed you guys all summer, lol, what happened to you guys? havent heard a peep from you guys lol. look at em go! nice brown boys , hope things pick up for you soon!

Thanks Gordon! It's been bath water all Summer, 70 degrees on average and skunked 10 times at least. The water has cooled down now so we've got high hopes again.
