This is all on the purchaser. Everyone that does these sheds is very clear on prepping the site. You pick a spot as level as you can find. Anything sloping is going to be a problem. That's not the shed builders fault. Second if aren't going to get a concrete foundation, which can be expensive. Get a load of gravel . It cheap and easy. I think this shed company went way beyond what is expected to try and make this work. This is not even a close call , this is the customer's fault. I had a shed and a sea container dropped on my property. The container in the dead of winter with a foot of snow on the ground , but I cleaned out the drop area and room for the truck to get in and out . The driver was telling me horror stories about driving to properties being asked to drop in the bush somewhere through an unplowed road. You are basically getting a mini house delivered. Do the prep work you will be fine. This company did everything they could . I don't know anyone else that would of put in this effort.

I have built and delivered sheds for 41 years now and I won’t even put a building over 12 inches high any more, it’s just not safe with no foundation underneath. If that is a issue for the customer they can go somewhere else. Every customer is convinced that their property is level. I had one who could not understand why I was not going to get a shovel and dig holes in the ground to put the blocks in the holes. Some even outright lie to you about the delivery situation and when you call them on it they will laugh right in your face. It gets to be a bit much after a while.

Amazes me that folks can’t figure out that the final set can’t be on a slope! Some thought before as to where exactly they want the building to sit, and hire someone with the equipment to create a level site with minimal blocks. SMH. Great job moving and blocking twice though, guess that’s what you have to do. 👍

Still not sure why the customer wanted it that high. There's gotta be a way for a sales rep to figure the slope of the land and explain to the customer that poor site prep is NOT covered by any sort of warranty. Once it starts sinking or tipping all of the windows and doors will be out of kilter. It's a bad case of pay me now or pay me later.

Assuming someone did want it set on a slope, if they told me two blocks high, I would assume they meant at the most. If you took out another layer of blocks, it would still be half a block above the footing blocks at the low end. A level and a little discussion ahead of time would've saved a lot of work.

Frost heave (depending on where you are located) will put that building on the ground in a short while. Also, the organic matter under the blocks will also compact and settling will occur. Don't know who's responsible for the mistake but your name will be who they repeat over and over even if you did exactly what they wanted. Not trying to be a jerk, I've been in business for myself for a while and know how the blame game works. Lesson learned I hope.

Did the customer pay for foundation and leveling .. or contract someone to prepare and certify the site beforehand? I've seen movers drop a shed in the dirt and drive off because the land owner didn't ready the site! A return visit from the mover usually costs as much as the original delivery .. it behooves the land owner to ensure the site is ready to avoid these extra charges.

Why would you want a shed 2 feet off the ground ON BLOCKS? I hope that it hasn't blown of yet. Now a stairway to heaven just to get in. What a 20 foot ramp, oh you still can't get your tractor up the ramp. Perhaps a bit of counseling from the installer was in order. How about 4 inch blocks in the front and you get what you get in the back. Of course the installer didn't realize that the site was not properly prepared before they arrived. The installer had no obligation to prep the site. I see a $500 charge just to spend a half day to still do it wrong. I feel sorry for the home owner who was probably given bad advise by a relative.

Perhaps you might put together a small video showing what is required for a level installation? Post something similar on your business website?
