I feel bad for Jamie and the whole PFI speed team for that horrible crash at World Cup. Come back strong and keep your guys head up!
@fluffpantss2 ай бұрын
@FishingWithVasquez Jamie and Brent are scrappers! I don't think they have ever been to an event where they didn't have to fight till death. They battle their own cars, then take time to help others with theirs. P.f.i. and goof are the kings of under dogs!

alot of people can attest to this, i spoke with jamie just to talk with him and ask some questions, not about his crash, he def seemed fine both physically and mentally. its not like I know jamie personally but he strikes me as someone who goes silent if they are really upset or unsure about something. he said with confidence that brother in law will be fixed and i believe him

Glad you all are stepping up the safety. Think about a sheet of fire proof material for the firewalls. Sometimes you can’t see all the holes and cracks. Jamie mentioned he had more holes in his than he thought.

Yah do radiators like dsm intercoolers on each side. More coolant and more cooling area.

Pfi speed are tuners I expect clean interior and exterior and clean overall no mismatch panels and you should have a top 5 car every race very rare break downs because they should kno everything

So keep the hitch and trailer just make quick disconnect plates for the hitch so you can pull the weight off in race mode. Tires on top will kill more mileage than an aerodynamic low trailer with the tires inside it. Costing more to operate on the road should also be a concern for planning were to put stuff on a drag n drive setup. Just look at the difference aerodynamics made for Kyle on eroy and cletus on Leroy before you stick tires on the roof.
@GoofyBuiltShane2 ай бұрын
I’ve completed 2 drag n drives they are a blast… have you seen my trailer. Also not aerodynamic lol
@aubreymorris91832 ай бұрын
@GoofyBuiltShane yeah I'm aware of your trailer. That's my point. Make everything more aerodynamic and you gain free horsepower and or mpg. I've seen the struggle with small fuel cells and refueling on the side of the road. Better aero = less refueling = less power used moving dirty air = more power to go quicker and faster. Very few people actually take advantage of aero over horsepower. You've got plenty of power already based on the amount of drivetrain carnage you have been through already you should realize adding more power is a never ending problem. Whereas making it all more aerodynamically efficient is a one and done expense and time consumer that yields excellent results in performance and fuel efficiency. Before you dirty up the air exiting the rear of the car accidentally and cause more problems than you are fixing you might want to think about how air moves around the vehicle. Hate to see overlook something here that could prove dangerous at the speeds you guys run. Best of luck and I'm sure it'll be uniquely useful in your own style. Love all my PFI family and want to see ya'll continue to improve.

But can you do one thing can you keep the dam Engine together for more then one run. I love Hondas but come on guy the H and B series got to go the K make more power and don’t oil the track down every pass! I love what you do but please people are giving a lot of hate to the Hondas after this World Cup guys! The guys that can change that view is you pleas help. I’m getting crap from everyone I know since I run a Honda. I run a D-16 a2 single cam only 22 pounds of boost I have been able to keep mine together for 2 seasons now now blow ups. Won some local stuff in the true street class import FWD stuff don’t run the big boys like you do so I know it is a whole different ball of wax. Some day K24 all day H trans with a dog box. Next project. Still running hondata what should I run fuel tech or no. Fuel tech is stupid expencive.

My engine has been together all year and the last engine had over 2k miles on it doing 2 drag and drives 9 1-2-1 misshifts and it still lived for 2 years…. I have no engine troubles but it all comes and goes

Run megasquirt, I have two K series running it. No mods needed to the crank and cam wheels, unlike fueltech
@GoofyBuiltShane2 ай бұрын
We’ve started b and k with the stock sensors just takes a little more wiring and time. Gordo’s car originally was in a distributor and we did a Crv with a dizzy k series are alittle easier just need to know the right numbers
