Absolutely true observation. In the US everyone is obsessed with their right of way on the road rather than being sympathetic to others. In VN, you just go with the flow and don't get upset over someone cutting you off.

As a Swiss cyclist, I find it helpful to learn from others' experiences before embarking on a new adventure. This video about what the creator wished they knew before bike touring Vietnam is insightful and provides valuable information for anyone considering a similar journey. It's great to see someone sharing their lessons learned and making it easier for others to prepare for a bike tour in Vietnam. Thanks for sharing this informative video!

Thank you for posting this video, it is really inspiring. I have lived in this country all my life and probably have not explored it as much as you did. Although I live in Ho Chi Minh city; I still find people honking annoying lol. Because of that I try not to use the horn as much as possible.

Thank you for sharing your perspective! That is completely fair - I only experienced the honking for a few weeks, it makes sense that it can become annoying! Thank you for the comment 😊

It's a pretty cool gig! There are lots of supported tour companies out there that hire staff with various skills and experiences if it's something you're interested in!

You didn't know all that before?? LOL. What a crock. And so is the MTB and muddy cow paths they put you on. They just don't GAF. What you should have learned is take your OWN loaded bike and leave those babysit rides to the inexperienced goofs who take them.
