The pop girls in 1988-1990 were not playing around they were all in top peak form. Sheena, Madonna, Janet, Whitney, Mariah, Paula, Martika, Tiffany , Debbie, and icons like Donna Summer, Cher and Tina having huge hits as well. It must have been a glorious time to be alive.

Classic Babyface and LA Reid production and a big hit for Sheena on both pop and RnB charts. She completely changed her image and sound from lite rock pop ballads to funky pop RnB while her baby went from riding the morning train to being invited inside of her sugar walls.

Yup, You actually had to go OUT with your friends to socialize and go to the record and video stores to get your media. The only people I knew with car-phones were Real Estate agents (my friend's dad) LOL. Fun times. Listening to all this great music takes me back to those times. Half a century old now but no regrets.

Have you checked out her Disco cover songs album yet? Fabulous? She sings covers of songs by Thelma Houston, Donna Summer, Diana Ross, etc. It was finally released in the US as a digital album in August 2021. It was only available as an import CD before. I was thrilled when I found out that I could buy it.

You can definitely tell this video was made in the late 80's cuz it had that look that alot of others had like: a dark room with beautiful dancers, rain drops, GQ looking guy in a hat and round glasses, old fashioned camera with a flash bulb, etc. The song was catchy as hell though and Sheena looked amazing.
