All Outward "Mini-Bosses" In The Chersonese Region & How To Defeat Them (Definitive Edition)

My favorite tactic for handling "mini-bosses" in most games is the same tactics I use for most enemies and even bosses themselves. Just bring their health to zero before they do the same to you.

After defeat Glacial Tuanosaur, if you get reload screen (for sleeping) then the corpse of Glacial Tuanosaur disappear so remember to loot it first. After reload screen, there will be another Tuanosaur (the common one) appear so you can get 2 scaled leather so you can make scaled leather attire or save it for scaled backpack.

@@SheenShots By the way I want to ask about some bug. When the temperature is cold (or coldest) outside, the hot torch help to increase the temperature. But when inside, the hot torch not working, I test this in many dungeon, and the weapon that increase temperature is also not working (e.g. Revenant Moon, or infuse fire weapon). Is this only happen to me or not?

The accursed wendigo will not have any replacements whatsoever. I've went to the ghost pass several times after killing him and there's only the arcane elemental present (it respawns)

Strange thing, I can't search this information on wiki... But these bosses drops rare ingridients from ARENA. 100 true, but I dunno chance of drop. Maybe 50-60, I get 2 items from 3 mini-bosses. Elatt relic, and... Something else, I forgot

All of the new mini bosses added in DE drop arena relics now. Its 100% chance but always random so you never get the same relic even in different runs. However certain mini bosses in the base game do not drop them as I believe they are considered bosses instead: First Cannible, Hive Abomination, Royal Manticore. For some reason Nine Dots released this in a minor patch and didn't make is a big deal even though it is very cool.

Matriarch is on the side of the lighning creatures and fight shrimps. You can use that early game to avoid them and get the book and most of the loot pretty easy.

I had something odd happen the other day where I got ambushed on purpose three times while sleeping in this cave. At one point all three mantis shrimps ambushed me at the same time and I got lit up by lightning balls lol. It was amusing to say the least.

​@@SheenShots A shocking experience I am sure^^ Shrimps are probably the hardest enemies the starting region can throw at you in bulk. One is easy to deal with, but together they start shredding. I think they even got nerved at some point. It seems to me that their range attacks aren't as persistant to curve in your direction as I remember it.

So to actually play definitive edition you need to open the game through steam and not from your desktop. (This obviously only applies for PC users) That is the only solution I can think of really.

The abilities he has are way cooler than anything the other enemies in this region have. I can definitely agree there.

Yes. Most of these are new additions to the game from definitive edition. However, the original version of outward has enemies in these areas, but Definitive Edition replaced them with more powerful and different versions.
