Lots of snow and its not even winter yet. We are ready for it. Our sheep have adequate shelter and lots of food stored in the barns. Our Messiah comes not for the lost goats...but for the lost sheep. Matthew 15:24

Great video. What I noticed most was the way your animals respond to your presence - says a lot about how well you treat them.

Robert Lockwood and everyone else who thinks like Robert: ''the way your animals respond to your presence - says a lot about how well you treat them'' ..... ROBERT, ..... Zachary Bauer MURDERS THEM!... AND!... HE COMMITS THE ULTIMATE BETRAYAL WHEN HE EARNS THEIR TRUST BEFORE HE MURDERS THEM AND THEIR YOUNG. ALL THIS IS DONE IN THE NAME OF GOD! SO PERVERSE!! At 7:12 Zachary says ''I love Solomon''... LOVE?... Betray and murder someone whom you develop a relationship with! I'm so sick of this sickening exploitation of animals. Innocent, precious, sentient beings... being so disrespected and ESPECIALLY... WHEN IT'S ALL DONE IN THE NAME OF GOD! God is love, reverence, ''do unto others as you would have them do unto you'', etc. Wake up people! Take a step back. Look at what's going on. Its horrendous, appalling... not something we want to think about all day long or teach to our children. Look up 'Factory Farming'. Definition of Christian: 1. of, relating to, or derived from Jesus Christ or His teachings 2. of, pertaining to, believing in, or belonging to the religion based on the teachings of Jesus Christ 3. of or relating to Christians 4. exhibiting a spirit proper to a follower of Jesus Christ; Christlike 5. decent; respectable 6. human; not brutal; humane: ''Such behavior isn't Christian.''

+Susan Ewing No one is making you eat the flesh of the wee beasties, nor did we ask for your opinion. If you don't like factory farming, go after the factory farming - but that's not what Zachary or other people like him do. We don't believe that just because an animal is raised for food that we are justified in treating the animal poorly. It's exactly the opposite - studies show that keeping healthy happy beasties and using humane butchering methods results in better quality meat. Juicy, succulent, tender, savory meat! If only you truly understood the difference between feed-lot animals and those raised on small family farms. But you also attacked Zachary for being a Christian, a man of faith, which also has nothing to do with anything. I am not a Christian, but a Celtic Pagan, and I treat my animals with the same respect as Zachary. What does religion have to do with any of this? Twice in one post you have revealed your epic blind ignorance and hatred for mankind!

We are aspiring sheep farmers. You have such a nice set up. Just a couple questions: does your donkey protect the sheep from predators? Also, we get about 2 months of harsh winter here in NW Pennsylvania, what type of shelter do you recommend for the sheep?

I was at first so very moved by how you interacted and obviously felt close to these sheep, like they were your dear friends. It was so sad to then hear at the end that you are planning to kill them. Please open your heart to non violence and respect for all life. I have an animal sanctuary where 21 sheep take refuge here with many other animals. Like the sheep with you most have names and are friendly and highly intelligent. To take a knife to the throats of some to end their life isn't necessary to say the least. Animals are here with us, not for us. I hope the joy I sensed you felt being with these dear sheep extends into deep respect and lifelong (for you and them) friendship.

I have two lambs who get into everything, climbing on stuff. I swear they are part goat. They are stubborn they don't listen and hard to redirect from doing things.

We have both sheep and (dairy) goats. You are correct on how they behave. Our goats are like spoiled teenagers, we love them, but they are different. More personable, like dogs. We enjoy both the meat and milk from them. Btw, we have a protection llama, named Bruschetta :)

I worship Jesus, the Jewish Messiah of Isaiah 53, and love this typeface farming. It’s good stewardship of both land and animals. We get -35 C winter days in Calgary, AB, Canada. How much cold can sheep tolerate?

I can attest to goats being hard headed, they do what they want when they want. You have a good looking herd there. Your naturally raised lambs will be very tasty.

Maybe goats are just curious creatures. Also maybe the Shepherd needs to learn how to herd goats. He can learn from this-->www.dworin.com/five-leadership-lessons-from-herding-goats/ ( start at paragraph 8 ).

Matthew 25:31-46 31 “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. 32 All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.

Remember reading Genesis where it tells us that Esau has hair like a goat? Christ and Jews have hair like wool. It's amazing the truth of scripture. Shalom
