Sheepdog Says #22 - MRI Scan Update

I had my MRI scan today and it was a very weird experience!
I stuck a filter on this video because I was playing around to see what they did, let me know if it was a bad move! There's a fuzziness which I assume is due to lighting? I'll sort it out some how!

I had nine MRI's in a two year period. Instead of getting radiation after my operation, they kept a check on the cancer that they removed that way. It got to the point that I started to feel claustrophobic, each time. But I made it through all of them. My head in the box and dye in my arm, plus I had to hold my breath which seemed like forever so that they could get a clear view. By the way the dye contrast for a lung MRI is different and stronger, it gave me problems. But that was seven years ago and I am doing good. 🦋🇺🇸

Glad you are doing good, sorry to hear you had to go through such a traumatic experience. I hope I wont need more than this one but we'll see I guess.

Sheepdog Says Thank you, I made out great. With early detection I was able to beat two cancers. Breast cancer in 2002 and cancer of the saliva gland about 2010. They were two different cancers which made it good for me. Both times it didn't get into my lymph system, which made all the difference. After the treatments each time, which were awful. I was able to get back to living a very happy life. It was wise of you to get a MRI. I am sure that you will get a good report about it.🇺🇸

Shaz Danks they said I might be able to get a copy sent to me. But they were non committal about it which made me think it’s probably not gonna happen.
