This recipe is a age old recipe in most Muslim homes I learnt this recipe from my mom and it comes out fabulous. I always add 1tsp of kewdaa water to enhance the sheer khurma flavor. Lots of thanks for sharing the condensed milk tip I will definitely try making it with condensed milk next time😊

You cook absolutely good only we don't put saffron in sheer khurma. We add khoya ,or milk maid and fine chopped walnuts.with other nuts We don't reduce milk to this much consistancy 7:26 otherwise it looks like paya Sam or kheer

I cook it the same way but add sugar in the initial stage and use only 2 teaspoons of ghee because we prefer our sheerkhorma chilled. If we add too much ghee there will be a layer of ghee on top which isn't very pleasant.

Excellent!!. This is the way I prefer to make any kheer, whether chawal ki kheer, or Sevaiyan ki kheer. Boil the milk to bring to the desired consistency, not to add any thickening agents like milk powder, or condensed milk.. Thankyou 👍
