Oh, Danny Boy, the pipes, the pipes are calling, from glen to glen, and and down the mountainside. The Summer's gone, and all the roses falling, it's you its you, must go and I must bide. But come ye back, when Summer's in the meadow, or when the valley's hushed and white with snow, it's I'll be there, in sunshine or in shadow, Oh Danny Boy oh Danny boy I love you so! But when you come, and all the flowers are dying, if I am dead, as dead I well may be, you'll come and find the place where I am lying, and kneel and say an Ave there for me. And I will hear, though soft you tread above me, and my grave, shall warmer, sweeter be, and you will bend, and tell me that you love me, and I shall sleep in peace until you come to me! Those are the lyrics, for those who want to know. It is a great song and thank you for doing it.

About to play a similar song based off this one called “Fantasy on an Irish Air” for a Baritone solo. It’s funny, this solo was randomly selected for me. However I played this song a few years back for a school concert, and at this school it was a tradition our director started to play it every year because this was the last song his brother played before he died in a car crash... coincidence? I THINK NOT!
