In the 70s it was owned by the De la Salle order of Catholic brothers and was used as a school. Then went on to be a country club resort.

@@timawells Yup. Still have loads of schools around the world. The female equivalent in Sheffield was "Notre Dame" school. Heard of it? I guess Sheffield must have run short of catholics.
