What Really Happened to Jameis Winston? The quarterback made the pro bowl as a rookie but was a backup just a few years later...Why did this fall happen?

@ConleySmooge
@ConleySmooge 24 күн бұрын
@@Hereth_Edits with Baker Mayfield you get everything that Jameis was, with 75 percent less picks. That's why he is both good and underrated. Jameis was right when he said he's was ballin without the picks. He was right. Take 50 percent of his picks away, and he was a pro bowler. But.... he did throw all those picks. And just could not stop.

As a lifelong Bucs fan, this is what I have to say Jameis’ tenure here: Our Offensive Line and Running game wasn’t anything to lose sleep over. From 2017-2018, our Defense was so bad to where at 1 point in 2018 they were on track to giving up more yards for the season than our 1976 Defense (76 Defense was giving up about 390 yards per game, our 2018 Defense was giving up nearly 400 per game before Mike Smith was fired). To Jameis’ defense, the losing wasn’t all on him. He had some games where he played well but the Defense looked incompetent. When Arians got in, Quarterbacks usually throw more interceptions on average due to Arians’ aggressive style. Towards the end of the 2019 season, our WR Corps was hammered with injuries to where Jameis was throwing to guys who were backups and occasionally practice squad players. He definitely had some moments that were indefensible to where it was straight up infuriating to witness, that being said, the losing from 2017-2019 wasn’t entirely his fault. In the end though, we got Tom Brady from Free Agency and won Super Bowl 55. 👍

@@eddienash2095 so Bucs winning the Super Bowl without Brady Gronk ab fournette. Plug in any other free agent qb but Brady with friends. Bucs didn’t defense was trash since before jameis got drafted. No run game. Dif kicker every year. To solely place blame on Winston for his time there is crazy. Y’all really act like the Bucs were balling every year but jameis held em back lol. If Bucs were so great why they drafted number one anyways. 2019 even with all the ints Bucs would’ve won 2 or 3 more games if Arians didn’t fuck with the kicker.

I don’t remember a rise in his career. He had flashes of greatness but was as inconsistent as you could be. His 30/30 season will probably never be duplicated. 30 td and 30 int. Similar to Tebow, his college teams were so good that it masked his subpar talent as a qb. Matt Lionert is another in that category. Amazing college career, complete bust in the NFL.

Famous Jameis was a bit immature coming out of college, sort of didn’t have the mental aspect down that’s so crucial to reading defenses and knowing where and when to throw into coverage. So, despite the talent and obvious skill, he became known for his untimely turnovers. The video clips and narration is excellent. 👏🏼

turnovers are what KILL teams, he deserved to be stuck on the bench. He needs to prove himself consistently or his prior stats mean absolutely nothing. You CANNOT have a backup that is prone to turning the ball over, no team wants that. If he got his turnover issue figured out than he would have more opportunities. Jamies needs to figure out his turnover issue, if he figures that out he can have a long career. If he can't, then he will be a lifetime backup for teams that are not in playoff contention. Thats just the way the NFL works.

@@SheGotSports You're right.. this is how *I* cope, by simply stating the truth. ok let me proof read this a bit and whoooppps! Too long i forget millennial attention span has to be 140 characters Clearly your entire channel is how you cope with the type of *GIRL* you are. Being a leader of men is just like these comments, its hard work, you'll have to answer to many many more questions like this because we respect those who have the metal to keep up with us. If you complain you show your not willing to compete. If you defend yourself you show youre too invested.. You want a mans world.. here you go.. The critique is seriously that you dont, nor do you offer a unique perspective because we are not talking about things men dont know that women do.. your not unifying anyone and your just providing washed up, re-ran, re-edited content which other ACTUAL journalist have already parroted way more than we cared to hear to begin with. Sports media is dying for a fresh perspective which is not as contrived as all our other media sources yet your channel supports contrived, fake, scripted story lines we have already heard.. If you had an ounce of metal or could *cope* with comments youd leave them alone or otherwise realize im trying to direct you to create an effective you tube channel that empowers WOMEN rather than forcing GIRLS into spaces for MEN..Im not sure if you realize this channel is now part of a largely complicit in a sociological back-washing of values in america which specifically are designed to stop humans from procreation. Such is a circumstance which I regard you as an unwitting victim to. Again, you come off like a logical woman, a masculine female- the same sex is only mean to us when we show it disrespect to it and so I wouldnt be shocked to find women are always mean to you. You act like a man so men compete with you, using you for the social contract and sex but never LOVE you. Love is a power struggle to a *GIRL* like you and this is simply because you never learned to be aligned with your humanity as a woman.. OR VERY simply put for this chick who clearly WISHES she had broader shoulders, Have you ever thought about creating content that actually empowers women find themselves?
