According to a research in Japan, the scientists showed that plants can indeed talk to themselves. Plus eating animals is a part of food chain. Would you stop a carnivorus animal to hunt other animals? Plus you athiests indeed only target Hindus. For example during Eid you all in majority don't care about the goats (bakra) but you all start showing emotions (in majority) when it comes to diwali. I really don't want to say much but don't try to change nature. God has made rules carefully for us for the very reason. You may not believe in God since you are athiest but you do believe your parents right? You don't ask if they are wrong or right but you still believe them since they gave birth to you. Calcium is a mineral, cows don't make it. Cows get calcium from eating grass. The best sources of dietary calcium are actually green leafy vegetables, not dairy products. Decades of marketing by the dairy industry have skewed public perception. Plus to have the amount of calcium for one glass of milk, we need to eat a lot of calcium related vegetables which may be more expensive. Plus studies shows that a person who consumes meat, eggs, milk has a higher chance of living than a person who eats vegan (not even vegetarian). For example look at Japan. They eat so much meat yet they stay so healthy and live a longer life than so called vegans
