I thoroughly enjoyed this interview with a very interesting and nice chap. Part way through (40 mins or so if I remember correctly) he talks fondly of Stephen Turoff - the fantastic 'psychic' or spirit channelling surgeon-healer. I enjoyed this and recognised the truth of it as I too have seen him perform surgery with incredible results (I also had some myself and this too helped). As for the silent retreats of the Sheikh, he obviously has great patience and dedication so deserves his self improvement and progression and is a good example to us all.

Also this sacrifice of his most loving activity, is typical how Gurdjieff taught his pupils to sacrifice dear things in order to create Intentional Suffering in oneself. I’m not a Muslim although I’ve read somewhere that Allah said that we’ve all been born as one, but not all of us are raised as one. In other words; a moslim is a human that is in touch with god. When we’re young, we all are in touch with the great spirit, but the way of the world cuts off our connection. That’s why we have to meditate and be careful with everything that we allow ourself to be acquainted with. In our country there’s a guy that has proven that he can influence his immune system (Wim Hof a.k.a the iceman, scientific breakthrough). We are creators, our thoughts can help us, our thoughts can destroy us. Think about the placebo effect and the nocebo effect; “ask and you shall receive” (either positive or negative)”God knows you by heart.” It’s all about FEELINGS! (see; Bruce Lipton - the little brain in your heart). LET LOVE RULE 🙌🏻

If we want to find ‘god’ we have to understand what consciousness is. All biology has awareness and uses experience to adapt by altering auto response. Bacteria has awareness, even though they have no brain (see; can a single cell “change its mind.” + Learning from bacteria about social networks). Now the point is; 95% of time humans run on auto response (the subconscious) that has been altered by our experiences. Our inner knowledge is polluted. (see: Arnold B. Scheibel - How brain scientists think about consciousness). When we take a blood test on someone in extreme anger or fear... just by this person’s thoughts alone; he created noradrenaline... he has poisoned his blood, isn’t connected with his ‘creator’ (intuition) and his judgements are failing him. He creates hell on earth, and that’s what all unconscious people do. Unless they have altered their subconscious back in its natural state. FREE WILL only exist with a clear state of mind. That’s why you first have to find yourself to find god.

Only Allah knows whether you are real or fake but all I can say is that a true sufi with mystic powers gifted by god will never appear infront of live TV or want any publicity of any sort. A real sheikh is the one who has the spiritual connections with prophet s.a.w so that they make their student also to connect with prophet s.a.w to gain the prophetic lights. Stated by Abdul qader Gilani r.a. I think they would come in public to spread the light of islam.

i think u are actually missing a point, this is a method to clean yourself, sometimes some things are questionable but to say what u said... i dno i wouldn't. u see, Prophet had method of cleaning the self/heart however through practice and meanwhile there happened to be wars and also the path wasn't like to day you had to walk, ride animal etc this it self did a lot of things for self u know. anyway that's kind of a long story i think but keep exploring and so do i :)

I used to be just Muslim, very Anti Sufi and then I was Salafi . I went to all masjids to try to learn Islam. Real Sufis are just Suni Muslims who want to devote their lives to Allah . wonderful interview!..but but heeeey!!, why you gotta rush the man?? because, omg, when you mentioned being up against the clock? while he was talking about the healer, I nearly fell over, lolol!!..because he was sharing things I've been wanting to hear and understand more fully...but then here you come worrying about..what??.that thing called time?? haha!, well, I have to imagine, Iain, that you have your reasons..and all kidding aside: thank you for doing..a "part 2!" because I've always been drawn to, compelled to, pay attention to the mystical aspects and perspectives of the '3 desert religions' [Christianity (mystical), Judaism (Kabbalah, the philosophy as it's taught at Kabbalah.info) and Islam (Sufism) ]... something whispered into my heart to pay attention to those kinds of teachings/reminders, however and wherever they appeared..and I still believe this to be crucial to my further understanding of the nature of consciousness and existence..so thank you 💗 for making sure we would be able to hear from the Sheikh 😇. who, for me, has helped to answer some of the questions 💌 that I've had for a very long time..and I'll be looking forward to looking him up and finding out more about what he may further have to share that could be helpful on my journey. 😃
