It’s sad but under US law, apparel isn’t copyrightable. Not sure about Canadian law. So companies like Shein can legally take designs and sell them. The best protection is to raise awareness as the OP is doing.

I agree completely. I think like this too but we have to remember how many designers are out there with ppl knocking them off. They still get people who like quality to by the original. Just have to remember there’s enough for us all to eat

Get a patent for all your new products and ideas. So you can sue them or make them stop copying and selling that products. I am not a lawyer, so consult with a professional, someone who is good at this case.

Shein is based in the UK I believe. I have gotten really nice things from them except the jewelry. Temu is better for jewelry.

Even if she does it's not that simple. A complete no one with not even a big business compared to SheIn, she would not be able to provide enough proof to sue them. They have a bigger company and probably a lot of sponsors to back them up. She'd be very lucky if she actually sued them.

I did research. She known quite well by popular sites. She uses squarespace which also uses a bad domain but I'd she's earning money from people checking her out and buying her stuff then she might have a chance to sue them. A point might not be made in a day but if she demonstrates effort like she does creating these, then I'm sure they can side with her and the case is closed until they solve it that is
