I started reading the Outlander book series in the 90's when they were first published. I absolutely fell in love with all the characters. They have done a phenomenal job of choosing the actors to play these characters. I love these two together. We have watched over and over and can't get enough of this story.

Not having any talent in the dramatic arts, as a child I could not understand why the couples on screen were not couples in real life. Looking at these two, I still struggle with that. I cannot pretend to be anyone other than myself so I struggle to comprehend how actors differentiate between their on screen character and who they are when the cameras aren’t rolling.

I had tried watching the series a few years ago and found it kind of boring. Then I took an ancestry DNA test, which showed some matches from Scotland. I started watching it again this week and I'm already on the second season. It's interesting to watch with the perspective that those people could have been my ancestors.

Ein wahres Traumpaar. Ob nur in der Serie oder auch im wahren Leben sollte ihr Geheimnis bleiben dürfen. Lassen wir uns doch alle überraschen, ob es nach Staffel 8 (😢so traurig, dass dann alles vorbei ist) neue Erkenntnisse gibt. Ich bin mir ganz sicher, sollten Sam und Cait im wahren Leben ein Paar sein, werden wir Fans dies nicht vor dem Ende von Outlander, also nach dem Final von Staffel 8 erfahren. Meiner Meinung nach. Ich würde es phantastisch finden….😘

Es gibt nichts mehr herauszufinden, nachdem OL vorbei ist. Caitriona ist seit S1 mit ihrem Mann zusammen und sie haben ein gemeinsames Kind. Sam ist immer noch allein und ungebunden. Zeit, weiterzumachen. Es gab nie mehr als Arbeit und Freundschaft zwischen ihnen.

I wonder if they are tired, but I've seen them in a million interviews and they used to be genuinely smiling at one another during an interview. Either they have grown apart or something caused some awkwardness between them. I hate to think- hey the series is done, they have no interest in maintaining their chemistry friendship...that'd be sad...

Caitriona’s life has changed, she has a husband & a son! They’ve both matured as ppl, & as a public figures. Only those 2 really understand what carrying the weight of a beloved show, was like. Sam, being the sweetie that he is, is being respectful. Both genuine ppl, so behind the scenes, they’ll just be themselves. Listen to how many times they talk about all being together… they have become a ‘shared experience’ family. Life moves on. ❤️ OL

Кто нибудь книги читал, а если нет не несите чушь. В реалии Сэм правильно делает, что игнорит Кэт. Она им уже наигралась. Ухватилась за другого и по старости лет пришлось родить. Ещё, чтобы успокоить всех, Джейми не жениться на своей дочери. А в реальной жизни пусть жениться с кем любится, лишь бы эта "собака на сене" от него отвалилась. Кукловодка драная.
