Funny how time changes your perspective on things. I just turned 40 the other day so I grew up in the heyday of the fox body. When I was a kid I thought the 87-93 GT was gorgeous, couldn’t stand the notchback. Now I look at the Black GT and the red notch in this video and, while that GT is amazing condition, the notch is just on another level of cool!

Thanks for the nice walk around review of my black 89 GT. @(9:15). I am the second custodian of the car. The car has 30,456 miles on it. I have put 6,000 of those in the four years I have owned it. Keeping it as stock as possible is my goal, though I did need to add cup holders and USB ports.

Great Tribute! Mustangs Forever! Most memorable for me was a lowered(bought it this way) 89 GT Cobra auto, 3.73, flowmaster exhaust, and K&N cold air intake, black on black, aftermarket wheels. Super Fun Super Fast, and scared me at times. Sold it, then went to a 2007Gt and a 2010Gt, and still miss the 89. Last I heard the 89, had studded tires and winter driven, I was choked. Sad that the car just became some contractors go getter. Hope it still lives. Now I drive a 2018 F150 Coyote FX4, 3.73 Elocker, Air Raid-it Makes the Fox look silly, but I still respect the Foxbody.

The one guy who hit the thumbs down must be a serious camaro guy. I mean he's never owned one, he still drives the 86' Volvo his Grandma gave him. But he's a huge Chevy man.

I'm from NZ. NZQ 828 gets me! Foxes get me. All love for the old foundational Fords. Four Eyes and Foxes are the underrated 13 to 12 second Street slaughter-ers. Respect for those who have passed on too. Love from Moo Zealand....

Lots of amazing vehicles. The '00 Cobra R was an instant classic! Brute force and even without the big spoiler would also look fantastic (like any Mustang of that generation). Great video!

Thought I had a 89 GT bought a few months ago for 7500 bucks that was all original with a little 100k miles. Owner kept coming up with excuses why he couldn't meet up. Decided not to sell it 😏

Little Mustang bias? A second on the 1 of 150 Mclaren Capri, ton of focus on the one of 50,000+ '89 GT?
