Huge Shelby fan. I love how she races. Hopefully she can get back to form.

Not even 2 mins into the video and you make it clear that this is going to be a biased fluff piece of an interview. Shelby was cheating and got caught. The concern should be on all of the other elite runners who are cheating and not getting caught.

four minutes in...just a note here. Part of what was so frustrating about this case was the bias. you literally said "you know you usually hear this in the SPRINTS and the HURDLES or distance runners outside the United States" but when you hear an AMERICAN do this, it's shocking, I wonder what that was like for youuuuuu". ummm, we can kind of read between the lines on that one. Was there anything specific to the case that shocked you?

I didn't see any detailed facts about the case. But in watching this video, obvious questions arise. It could be a big learning experience for folks. What was the history of her test results? I'd like to see the results for all of the tests for the 4 years leading into the positive test, and results from tests afterwards if any. Add explanation as needed. Was it WADA that did the testing? Do they have biological passports for each athlete or is that just for bicycle racing? Details about nandrolone, maximum levels, Shelby's test levels. How long does it take to clear the system? When were the positive A and B samples taken? How long afterwards was she notified? Were other samples taken a week later, 2 weeks later, etc.? What was the result of hair sample test?

All this information is easily found if you look it up. Or at least most of it. For one thing, she tested negative in all the tests preceding the test in which she tested positive.

@@rtf7812 Not showing any of that in this video was a missed opportunity.

With doping i think have to go with a guilty until proven innocent mindest once you fail the test. System would not work otherwise
