I honestly think the “leather” mug would truly be the most beautiful by painting it with rich reddish browns, darker in the crevices. Like real leather. It is one of my favourite moulds and i think it’s almost offensive to the design to not embrace the rich leather look. I think it could turn out so beautiful. ❤

Oh... gosh! Top 3 Lava lamp, bookshelf, and the Milo even though I don't know the product. I appreciate the design. I have to say, I was a bit disappointed with the fairy decals. They were so pale colored. I used to use decals a lot in ceramics. On cannister sets, lamps and vases and the occasional tea set. And the decals were always vivid. But we usually applied them on white/clear or what we called nutmeg which was clear with a fine brown spot. So maybe the background color was too much for the fairies, according to my memories. Pigs in space, which was a Muppet Show skit, needs an honorable mention on my list! ❤❤❤😊

I HATED the tall one that just seems too tall but I am now in love with it because of the bookshelves with the ladder!! It's so funny how when somethings plain it can give the ick but as soon as its decorated, it feels so much more lovable. I adore these so much, I even loved the badger goblet. It wasn't giving hufflepuff to me but it was giving one of those mugs you find that's so busy that its cute and endearing. My fave overall HAS to be the milo can though! I'm not Australian so I don't have the nostalgia but its sooo clean and crisp! Love this!

8:25 That would be really cool. I'm not sure how you could add it but I can see it being a "tongue and groove" type mechanism or like a rotated dove tail. Maybe if there was a section that was higher, like on a circular key lock where it has the 1 line part, where the handle could rest. Sounds like a nightmare to keep from warping or buckling, but sounds like a fun challenge. I don't care for reading books but I looove how that turned out. Omg the decals as well, especially like you mentioned, people who feel like they're not artistic but they can still help make something they can be proud of that will last. The lava lamp as weeell looks awesome. Also the Australian specific tin can as well is awesome. My favorite is probably the lava lamp

Mug 4 with the couple dancing is my absolutely favorite and I don’t even know why. Loved the fairy teacup so much, and the bookshelf one is so pretty. Also, I’m a Hufflepuff and felt so happy that my dear house was mentioned, even though I didn’t really love the design of that goblet (at first I thought it would be something HP themed but thought that maybe it would be Butterbeer related

The other way you can add splatter is by using a fan brush. I like the the space pig, so funny! The saying on the bull mug fits the *mug* but I've always heard the *saying* as "Grab the bull by the horns". The painting on it turned out cute.

For the decals / workshop, giving people already painted pieces is a great idea but you could also offer workshop in 2 parts : first one is paint your cup and second one : come back later to add your decals. When I visited Japan, I joined a pottery school and because I stayed like 20 days in Japan, I managed to book 2 appointments at the pottery school. One for creating the piece in clay (we did bowls on the pottery wheel). I came back later when the pieces were baked and ready to be painted. And finally, I dropped the day before my departure to pick the final piece. It's one of my best memories and I love to use the bowl I made myself, in Japan, with traditional Japanese glaze.

I love all of them, except the actual green of the space pig. It's a bit... "i'm nauseated green" to me. But I absolutely love the idea of alien pig in nebula space. The milo one with those Australian flowers is awesome, the lava lamp one too... And, I'm rainbow all the way, (just because I love the bright clear rainbow colors) and I use those a lot. I have a hard time working with pastels, but I must say, your results are awesome. I even liked the dancing pair on the barn-ish one. I think a whole mug full of houseplants is one I'd dream of. Or a garden one, with actual grass greens, (with sun, without sun, at night, etc) with little flowerfairies peaking from behind a leaf or two... I can think of ideas, I just can't draw to save my life. 🤣

My fav is the bookshelf mug. Love the colors. Having lived thru the 60s and 70s i don't always like those colors. My childhood home had an avocado green refrigerator, harvest gold vinyl sofa, a scratchy orange and gold plaid lazy boy chair and orange sparkle flower wallpaper kitchen. Most of the time these things make me cringe. Somehow you make these colors new and fresh. Great job.

I love the shape of the goblet so much and actually think it could be very versatile because of being separated. You absolutely could use the base as a lid if you wanted or smash the base and cast the mug... ;). My favorite was the tea mug because it was very whimsical and my second favorite was the bookcase but I did feel the ladder could have been attended to more to ensure it had the same amount of care that it is obvious the rest of the mug had.

I really love the lava lamp & the Milo lol! Mug 11 (or 14) would look fabulous with a quintessential Aussie Combi Van on it - complete with beach background and a surfboard on the roof! The goblet would have been fun done as an ice cream sundae or maybe a castle! My wee one suggested You did it as a castle turret with a princess (aka Rapunzle) letting her hair down - with the handle being her hair lol.

You could put the soup mug together with a plate/bowl and make it into a plant holder. Put some holes on the side towards the bottom to allow for watering. You did a wonderful job!!!
