Oh Mer lol it's not a big change, it's an expected one. Plus there should be some more to follow. Keefe sure looked relieved in his video though. Doesn't have to coach Marner anymore lol and he'll get paid to sit at home. Though I am sure some team is gonna hire him.

Manner - the back checker (who gave up at the Blue Line) was the only Leaf in a position to match the speed of the Bruin who scored in OT. Leafs Coaches have to ensure Leaf Forwards back check covering their man all the way back to the Leaf net, or until Leafs get the puck. The Leafs could still be playing if Mitch properly back checked in OT. He is paid $11 Million to play a two way game.

They will never terminate him. BT supports verbal abuse of cancer victims and Sid is the perfect spokesman for that.

A coach can’t fix broken. One can coach until they are blue in the face, but if the team isn’t built for success in the playoffs, then all is lost. Look at the last 50 Stanley Cup champions, then ask yourself this: is Toronto built like any of the 50 previous championship teams? The answer is: no. Coaching changes address overpaying for four finesse forwards, while ignoring defence and goaltending, how?

Spot on. And I will give someone 1000:1 odds that come this September the TSN anchors will say this verbatim. " The Leafs need to bolster their defense and add goaltending. They the same exact thing, year after year after year...Yet, they do the same thing every year.

The Ego of Sid is unbelievable thinking Maple Leaf Entertainment cares about when BT goes off air. But glad this firing was done, next trade Marner, his lack of physicality hurt them when it counts. If you think Marner should stay, watch every other series in round 2 and look at the effort of everyone- no way the Leafs would get by round 2 with the current line up.

The Leafs have very stubborn players who can't take criticism. For example, Mitch Marner. Keefe is definitely better off elsewhere.
