I admit some have claimed Sid's response to POTUS Biden's Leaf joke rubbed such critics of the ex-Sportsnet media personality the wrong way but what DIDN'T rub me the wrong way is the general theme of the Leafs' having too often been a joke of a team. I've included for quite awhile #maplelaughs in tweets about the tendency of the Leafs to falter in too many games including, during the NHL's modern salary-cap era, playoff ones.

Why do you think after 16 years Dina Pugliese left? Sadly Sid is absolutely correct. Toronto decides who runs this country. The GTA has 51 seats in the house. Sask has 14 and Alberta has 34. So even though Sask and Alberta pay all the bills, the GTA all by its self out votes two whole provinces 51 to 48. The reason why this country is so dis-functional. I am however a Leafs fan.
