If you knew anything about the human voice and the mechanics of how delicate it truly is, then you would hear when he uses his screaming technique that he is developing nodules, a serious vocal ailment that will bring the end to his singing voice. I adjudicate and teach singers all over the world using proper singing technique...something Sheldon Riley or Sheldon Hernandez (who is he today) does not know. He/She is highly untrained and will soon pay the price. Please learn something about the human voice and how it works. Powerful does not mean pleasant tone, healthy tone, or pleasant tone. I dont understand why he is not famous . His voice hauntingly so real. I feel every syllable of this song. The minute he sand the first word i had goosebumps. And i agree with the person that said this song already sounds like a soundtrack to a blockbuster movie. Like a coming of age drama accepting who he is and what he goes thru to get there. Hell the song sounds like a a screenplay . I just hope with the disappointment that all these singing competitions keep giving him that he hangs on and doesnt give up . I happen to judge international voice competitions regularly - this guy Sheldon Riley or Hernandez, or whatever last name he is using this week, is already developing serious vocal damage to his voice. His improper use of correct vocal support/technique, and his constant screaming in his upper range will not stead him well. Please educate yourself and read about 'nodules' and the human voice. The human voice is a very delicate instrument and if not used properly will destruct. Since he doesn't use any healthy voice technique, and that is evident when he sings, he is going to develop permanent breathiness, and cause blister-like growths on the vocal folds. This leads to permanent damage. If you watch some of his warm-up videos where he is singing in bathroom - the damage is already evident.@@maxnewts

I have loved Sheldon since I first saw him perform here on Australia's X Factor, then, The Voice Australia..twice and Eurovision. He is beyond phenomenally talented and a really lovely young man. Someone needs to sign him up to make an album, or collaborate with Hans Zimmer on a movie, or sing the opening for the next James Bond movie, he is so much better than that weepy, mopey Billie Eilish performance on No Time To Die. As a vocalist myself, listening to this song verses listening to to his covers on the voice, I can tell there has been a lot growth in vocal control, breath control and even better range support. Hitting some of those insanely high notes where there is grit and being able to hold that without vocal break is outstanding. Mad respect, he has come a long way and you can hear it.

Sheldon is a perfect combination of Freddie Mercury raw emotion ....Trent Reznor darkness... David Bowie uniqueness... Rammstein theatrics...Chris Issak melancholy... Adele precision.... 80's Bruce Dickinson power... Every one of his performances is special. I especially remember his powerhouse performances of “Do You Really Want to Hurt Me” and “Tattoo” in the Aussie blinds and on AGT Fantasy League, respectively. He not only made a hell of a statement, for himself and everyone else, by removing his mask during Tattoo, but these two performances along with a few others proved beyond the shadow of a doubt just how uniquely powerful and powerfully unique his voice, stage presence and showmanship truly are! He occasionally hits notes in the form of runs and entire lines, in a way that I have never heard another performer hit, ever, living or dead. So deeply rich, so flexible and buttery smooth, and so richly deep! Not saccharine sweet, not sentimental, not hamming it up and definitely not f*cking fake! Truly mellifluous and beguiling.
