SHANE 4K 👌👌👌👌 I watched it at the academy museum in Los Angeles with George Steven’s jr and Christopher Nolan introducing and discussing the film! Can’t wait to see it on 4k because the fm on the bug screen was amazing.

Frank, I think I know what you're thinking about at 40:03. I was glad to see you got a thank-you note in the credits. Bit of a tricky question but you handled it well. Keep doing your thing Kino is one of my favorite labels for its diverse selection.

As to the comments about the spines and the art you use in the Kino releases, I like to hunt down original art on movies off the interwebs, and print the ones I like and put them into the box. Not that I don't like the art you use on Kino releases, but quite often there are multiple, completely different posters and other art I like. So I do it myself!

Fantastic news about the upcoming “Airport” film releases! Hopefully, these releases will kick off some other 1970s disaster film remasters as well.

I first moved to NYC in the mid-80s and I loved seeing movies on 42nd Street.

One I picked up last week on Blu is SHOCK TREATMENT, the 1981 "not a sequel, but an equal" musical from the ROCKY HORROR bunch. It was out on Arrow a few years ago (that's the one I got), and went out of print. The one I got was $55.00, but that was actually a rather inexpensive listing. I am happy, but since it appears to be unavailable anywhere, would that be a Kino possibility? It was released by Fox in 1981 and on DVD, again, by Fox, a number of years ago, but I'm not sure who holds the rights these days. Hope it's not Disney. Just a thought.

Thanks Frank & Alicia for the chat. Frank, any chance at all for a release of Robert Altman’s HEALTH? To the best of my knowledge it has never gotten a home video release of any kind. Not great Altman but that cast and it’s a good middle tier Altman.

Criterion is a very overrated label. Kino is much better. I own hundreds of Kino releases and just a handful of Criterion.

Not sure about that. Criterion is better regarding technical quality and supplement packages generally, but Kino smokes them in breadth of titles. I think they're both good!
