You need to go to a dive shop & get a few net bags to do your shelling. You can dip them right in the water & rinse off the shells you find. Much better than your pocket.

Love the turtles they are very protected here in Florida- the two shell you found the layered ones we have in Florida they have more rounded ridges - they are called imperial Venus clams the other one are here too and are called crossed barred Venus clams

They are Auger shells you see them a lot on Florida. The long slim spiral shell.
