That Shakespeare ultra light reel is so recognizable but those are good rods the reel that comes with it works just as well as the rod I've caught several fish over the rods weight limit great rod and reel both very sensitive but they'll hold up to a larger fish as long as you're fishing properly

LOL, my boy called me, had to watch it again! Funny how videos can incite such memories! Of coarse he remembered it different than I recall! As MY memory serves, I whooped his donkey! "Sure, you did...NOT" he said. My response..."Its my memory and I can lie if I want too". His first fish WAS a 5 lb bass, at 3 yrs old. I caught a wee blue gill and we had to keep them. I still remember clearly, "Mommy needs to see how good I did"! So naturally, I filled the bath tub and waited on Mommy. Know what he kept saying? "Daddy, my big fish is gonna eat your baby one!" YEP, created a monster lol Thanks again for posting the vid! Boy did I catch some grief, fish in the tub was wrong. Who would a guessed it? lol

I am noticing a theme in this video! Every time you have one in your hand, and you say"Im fish hungry, or I need to cook some of these fellers..." They get out of dodge lol Bama fish understand English? lol I think its the Bear hat you had on lol. Best Shell Cracker fishing I ever got into was just behind The Mud Creek BBQ at boat ramp near Fackler, Al Me and my boy, yes day out of school for him. Was April 18 2007, filled up a 5 gallon bucket of BIGUNS! We had bright Volunteer orange hats on!!! Secret weapon tip for your videos lol Keep up the good fishing,Brother. Hey mr Gene question is bluegill fishing better with or without floats....with lice worms that is?
@RichardGeneTheFishingMachine7 жыл бұрын
If the water is real clear I'll usually go with just a hook and worm no weight. If the water is dindgy then a float would work fine. I have a new bluegill video coming up soon! Thank you so much Shun barkley!

I plan on getting me a Kayak! Looking for one right now! Any brand recommendations? I'm not too familiar with them but i want one! They would be great for my smallmouth creek trips
@johnbernard60147 жыл бұрын
I went threw them all. My faverate is a KC kayak, but any of them work as long as it's at least 34inch wide and has swivel seat.. MAKE SURE YOU GET SWIVEL SEAT!!!! Kayaks are small you can't stand and turn around. Without a swivel seat a kayak is nearly impssible to fish with. Just my 2 cents. Swivel seat!!!
