Wish I was on that beach. I couldn't believe you left the huge shell. They would not be any left if I was there. Enjoyed your shelling.

@solaceinshelling65523 жыл бұрын
Hello! Right now I live in NYC, so I don't have a super ton of space - most shells are in tupper-ware containers, but I am always thinking of new ideas for display especially when the time comes to get a bigger place! Thanks for wathcing!
@amartin69902 жыл бұрын
Such beautiful shells! Maybe someday we get there but for right now we will live vicariously through you. Out of curiosity, if you were on a cruise how did you get around the island?
@solaceinshelling65522 жыл бұрын
Hello! St. Croix is very beautiful and would highly recommend a visit. St. Croix was one of the port of call stops on the cruise. I researched a couple of potential shelling locations of interest ahead of time on the island. I rented a car for the 9 hours we were docked at the island and drove to the locations - was able to get back with plenty of time before ship departed. Thanks for watching!

Hi I'm from the UK sndcwatch your videos all the time. I have been trying to buy a florida fighting conch as we dont seem to have them here. Do you know or do you sell any of the florida conches you find. If you do or do know of someone who does sell them I wld be very grateful. Thankyou.

You stated you were on a cruise. Did you have any problems bringing them back onto the ship and through security?
@solaceinshelling65523 жыл бұрын
Yes! So I had to do a little research before hand regarding taking shells back on board. I can only speak to my experience on this one trip, but I didn't have any issues taking a few small shells back on boat. I had them in my pockets as I heard this is the best way, but my friends took a couple larger ones in their bag and it wasn't an issue at all!
@annamann45442 жыл бұрын
we are thinking about visiting st croix, is it true you cannot take home any shells?
@solaceinshelling65522 жыл бұрын
Hello, I can only speak to my experience. I have traveled to a few places in the Caribbean and have never had a problem bringing some shells home in my suitcase. While visiting St. Croix, I was on a cruise, and brought most of the shells found in this video back on the cruise and home on the plane without issue. I do want to reiterate however, that I can only speak to my experience! Hope you have a blast on your trip! Thanks for watching!
