Thank you so much for my vicarious beach and shell fix. For some reason, The Fates/Lady Karma plopped me in Chicago - no shell beaches or places to rock-hound, but I have managed to acquire a houseful anyway! Do you know how/why these lovely critters expired and left this life? All sizes/ages. I know about Oyster Drills, but there are so many empty lovelies just laying there...

This video reminds me of when I am down on the shore and just wandering around caught up in my own thoughts and just rummaging through the rocks at the tide pools a short distance from my house...and the sounds of the sea and the cry of the gulls mixed in all make for a great day of exploration...and today, sitting and just watching...in 4K...and not getting my feet wet...priceless....so, thanx for letting me tag along...!

Awwww the crib stone bridge my great aunt and uncle had a cottage on Bailey’s Island and we spent many weekends there as children combing the beach for shells , way back when you used to be able to find a lot of sea glass in different colors , now not so much!

All of the Cones found in this video were dead, empty shells - only live Cone Snails possess the ability to sting. Additionally, all of the species of Cone snails found in Florida are not deadly(unless you are allergic). Cone Snails of the Indo Pacific region can be lethal. Thanks for watching!
